The new ORE Endeavour will use rainbow colored mining lasers, and the cosmic dust produced from chewing up asteroids will smell like roses.

interesting perhaps we're going to be two t2 ventures, a gas mining specialised model and an ore mining one?

This is a bit of an issue considering that even a t1 mining barge is going to be better than what a t2 venture specialising in mining. The only other option is for a ship specialising in deep core mining yet being balanced with limited cargo hold.

T2 Ventures -

Version 1 - Ninja mining specialist - can fit 3 harvest mods and a covops cloak

Version 2 - Mini-orca - can't mine anything, but can provide bonuses to targeted fleet members (mining logi)

Both lose the built in warp strength and the launcher hardpoint and are fairly weak hp wise.

Just spitballing here.

Pretty sure we don't need confirmation that putting a cov ops cloak on a ship with innate +2 warp strength is something that will never happen.

But would you trade the +2 WCS for the ability to fit a covops cloak, and a boost to survey scanner range?

Lol the sheer blue language one of my colleagues fills the air with when yet another venture or stabbed PI hauler escapes will be nothing compared with what will occur when one of these gets away! ShockedBig smile

Support for strip miners a bigger chassis/tank and not enough high tech for planck bubbles in your ore bay.

No no ... space spoilers improve agility and acceleration not make the ship go faster ... that would be silly.

Spoilers are designed to increase down force. Clearly the aforementioned frigate will be released for the purpose of being flown upside-down-spinning-round-and-round-and-round through gas clouds in order to better evade pirates in low sec.
