Yeah, they're a riot to watch in action. The markings on the Gecko are pretty hilarious, too ("ED-209").

I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.

Note: If the proposed new rattlesnake 3.75 damage and HP role bonus is allowed to apply to the gecko its going to make an amazing brawler combo.

Yep and with that set up you no longer need DLAs so you can fit all 5 launcher slots with rage RHML. Plus your moving so the rattler will take less damage.

5 * Rage RHML or Torp @ 50% damage bonus + Gecko @ 275% damage bonus + 3 DDA + 3 BCU could make for an interesting boat.

The Gecko can move atleast 2200 ms, good luck trying to keep up with it in a rattlesnake.

I imagine faction Damage Augments for starters, faction Drone Nav Computer and omni.

Well if my math is right (based on current drone skills being maxed)
32(per damage type)x4x2.05(base Dam Mod)*2.5(the total difference when all ur drone skills maxed) = 656 volley from 1 of them on an unbonused ship.
/4 for the refire rate. a single gecko is pushing out ~164 dps (not bad)
*2.75 for the rattlesnake bonus, and you looking at a drone with a 1804 volley at 421 dps. BEFORE damage mods.
Then assuming T2 launchers with javeline torps (though RHMLs would probably be a more appropriate weapon system)
Current rattle (no damage bonus) with 4 of them is, 225dps from launchers. = 56.25dps per launcher, * 5 = 281.25*1.5(for kin or therm with l5 gallante bs) = 421.875dps from launchers before mods

So... long story short, before damage upgrades, your looking at ~870dps/paper from just a base fitting... However torps have crap applied dps, and with no range bonus your gonna need to chase to get in range for that dps. Also the drone has travel time.
RHML sustained (accounting for reload time) gets you ~730 dps (280 from launchers, makes you want to drone upgrade more but will have great application/range)

I don't know all the math for stacking penalties and such so I won't delve into module BS, but that shoudl give you a rough estimate of whats going on, damage wise. It didn't lose any mid or lows, so it shouldn't be losing its amazing tank. And though it doesn't get bonused for them, it can still carry a full wing of lights and meds into combat.

Technically, the bonus it has should also support light missiles/RLMs if your... say you were using it as a ratter, and wanted the ability to take out a scramming frig, before his buddies arrived. Also can carry a heavy neut, for anti tackle.
