Anyone have an Alienware M14x R1? This thing used to be a beast for me handled EVE full graphics ME3 same anything without issues! Now! FPS goes from 60 to idle around 2... audio crackles and pops when this happens. Tried nuking the whole PC fresh install and all. Same issue continues.

Yes I got the latest and greatest drivers. Was thinking about reverting the graphics driver to an old one from a couple years ago.

Thoughts? Insight?

Laptops, especially gaming laptops, have a higher failure rate than standard PCs. But when was the last time you cleaned the fan and the rest of the system?
