Disappointment with avatar creation

As many of you know and enjoy pointing out - I'm faceless.
So I've been playing around with the facial simulator and I have a complaint.
its cool and all that you can customize your appearance, but i am disappointed in this one thing about it.

That there is a limited age range that I can design from.

Why can't we make our avatars as children?Question I would to make a little girl or boy to play with as my avatar and fly spaceships with my avatar.

wut? I've seen some child looking avatars. Might depend on what empire you roll. Try biomass and roll another Idea

any way i will understand if you cant make it because you might need to do some training or some thing befor you can sign up as a capsuleer or some thing dont know the lore but i will thing it was some thing like that

Well, leaving aside CCP's (reasonable IMHO) aversion to making the character creator capable of creating child images (the optics on that are just bad), the capsuleers plug all sorts of neurological things into themselves (implants, the pod interface). Those may not be compatible with child (read: still developing) physiology. And the Eve societies also probably have fairly tight reign over what they will allow to be done to their children (just like we today have special rules for testing medicines for pediatric use, and don't allow kids to get tattoos, and so forth).

Little boy or girl? Didn't you see the sign in the CQ around the pod that reads "You must be this tall to fly a capsule."?

I don't see why not, clones don't start all fully adult when created, they have to develop.

While developing they are not children. If it were possible to make child clones, it's reasonable that the Eve societies would treat them as children (and therefore restrict them from being capsuleers).

I think the character creator works just fine. I'm happy with my portrait, quite true to life I think

Beyond the training, would anyone really let a 12 year old prone to throwing tantrums fly around in an immortal body with a spaceship capable of nuking planets? Probably not.
