Oh come now...surely you don't actually think that is what a "bikini wax" is? I'm a prudish Amarr and even I know what she meant.

Of course I know what it is.
Bikini is a form of inappropriate gallentish underwear.
Wax is... well.. a wax.
Wax bikini is an inappropriate gallentean underwear, made from wax.

She may have misunderstood, however I would not be surprised in the least if there really are Gallente who wore such apparel. Stereotypically they have few limits on decency.

I don't...think so? Though I admit I've been out of the loop on what the latest trends are (and I plan to stay that way). It could be some kind of kink. Maybe.

If it isn't yet, I'm sure some baseliners reading this are about to make it one.

I am not familiar with Gallente fashion, you seem to likely know more than I.

I said "stereotypically" for a reason, as there are always exceptions. However, I still would not be surprised in the least if your prediction occurs.

Yeah. Sadly they're probably already making porn of it as we speak. Rule 34 strikes again.

I'm sure the Scriptures have something to say about the orthodox methods to an effective waxing regime. Perhaps it's even Haereticus not to wax. After all, some studies have shown that populations in which both genders have adhered to the removal of both body and pubic hairs, that there is an associated reduction in cases of being afflicted with parasitic organisms such as lice and fleas that live in human hairs. Certainly, one would think personal hygiene as Holy.

Personally, I've found having a complete body wax not only a matter of personal hygiene but well, getting hairs in your contact lubricant for the pod-suit is just disgusting.

I am aware of no such passages, although such methods would be considered more along the lines of common sense than ritualistic.

Either way, it would not be appropriate to discuss such matter on a public forum. I was merely commenting on how the Gallente do not have significant boundaries concerning decency in their attire or activities that should remain private.

Also, your last sentence was certainly information that we did not require.

I strongly recommend you taking a daily shower.
In a healthy military society there is no such problem, as properly educated soldiers are maintaining proper daily hygiene and don't need total removal of hair, except shortening head hair and removal or trimming facial hair to maintain acceptable professional appearance.

And now I know why you wear this wig.

I'm reminded of an anecdotal joke from my time in the Navy Marines:

During State-Imperial wargames exercises an Imperial Major from their Headquarters Staff was sent to the front with new orders for a Caldari Marine Division stationed in their sector of the lines. Attired in polished boots and buttons, fine braid epaulettes, and a freshly pressed uniform he would not have been out of place on the parade grounds as he stepped into his Staff Car and had the chauffeur drive him to the front.

Upon arriving at the front he stepped out of the Staff Car and drew himself up to a proud posture awaiting for one of the Caldari enlisted men to announce his arrival and give him the unit salute as befitted his rank and heritage. To his annoyance however, all the Caldari appeared to be pre-occupied in the work of digging their anti-tank ditches and establishing their pre-fabricated fortifications. Even worse, none were even in their uniforms as they went about their labours in the mud and the dirt.

With increasing frustration the Imperial Major paced up and down with a disdainful expression as he slapped his leather riding crop on his thigh at these half-naked Caldari digging in the dirt as they prepared their defenses he awaited the call to salute that he believed he deserved.

Finally, his frustration at peak, he waved his crop at a Caldari woman caked in dirt with entrenching tool in hand, "You there!" He shouted imperiously with haughty tone, "Can you not see that I am the Major here, I have waited for almost half an hour for you all to do your jobs, to call formation, salute me and hear your orders!"

The Caldari woman regarded the Major for a long moment and finally lifted herself up out of the anti-tank ditch to put on her uniform jacket over the mud-caked singlet she had been wearing. To the Imperial Major's surprise and shock, he could discern the insignia of a Navy Colonel on the collar of the Caldari woman's jacket. Stepping in front of the Imperial Major with a smile the Caldari Colonel simply said:

"My apologies, but my men and I currently have more important things to do right now than to waste on calling formation and saluting you. Now, as you can see since I am the Colonel and you are the Major I outrank you. You will now call me Sir, salute me, give me my orders, and then after that you can bloody well **** off."

Oh, Veiki darling, don't be silly! Amarrians would never expect to be saluted by half naked ditch diggers, and certainly not half-naked Caldari ditch diggers! Come now! The entire empire is founded upon the principle that only fully naked reprobates dig ditches. At least, that's how I've seen it done since, well, the dawn of Time I often think.

I would be mortified... mortified!... that a ditch digging detail was not adequately stocked with suitably naked disposable savages, forcing it to dig its own ditches.

The horrors of war must be truly unimaginable!

With respect to waxing, its really a question of production values.

The wax should be as neutral as possible, so as to leave no discoloration, irritation, blemish or other impurity behind when it is ripped off the skin (after invocation of three short mantras to the focusing power of pain); and, should include a contact anesthetic which prevents the skin from manifesting any outward signs of mild trauma. Then, four spritzes with a mixture of coconut oil and blessed water, followed by a lot of rubbing while choir boys in holy loincloths give praise to High Heaven. Depending on social status, the choir should range from twelve boys to 342. Royal heirs are allowed 684 boys. Her Majesty is of course allowed as many boys as she wants. Did I mention the incense? No? Well, yes, needless to say, the air should have just the right amount of enigmatic soothing smoke.
