While the above remarks are generally the way to go with BPCs, the COSMOS BPC work a bit differently as you will be lucky to find the good ones on contracts as they get snapped up pretty quickly and they can be low volume anyway which causes additional problems trying to value them.

As a very rough rule-of-thumb they can be divided into three categories : unsaleable at any price, iffy and good. As a very rough approximation I'd say they are equally split into these three categories.

I have an alt that has all the COSMOS skillbooks at IV with some Encryption books (pre-req for some of them) at V and have built most of the profitable ones.

The best way to judge their worth is to go to Jita and look up all the materials and work out the cost of building them and if the built item can be sold at a profit then decide what spilt you want with a prospective buyer. Pay attention to market history when judging the price you can expect to get for the built item, there are many that are on the market at unrealistic prices, look at what they actually sell for and the volumes traded.

Thanks for the detailed explanation. Looks like I have some homework to do. Having some cash flow issues and need to sell a few things, quickly.
