Hey guys ,

First off i'd like to dedicate this first sentance to Psychotic Monk ( spelled that right?) His friends and his blog . Thanks to them i would not ever have discovered this new ( to me ) fun and satisfying way to make isk. You have my respect and apreciation!

Second , i wasnt gonna make a thread about it because i don't wanna gloat of such things also letting people know what i do right now but im just so excited about this i can't help myself.

So , few days ago i came across Monks beligerent undesirables blog and as i started to read and laugh and be amazed all at the same time ..i decided i wanted to try it out. I got fed up with working my ass of for isk and im not the kind of person to dump RL money on a game.

My first safari attempts where a failure , first one i landed on a mining op in a neut vexor ( i didnt have logi alt backup) , tackled the orca but also tackled a hulk which to my shock wasnt in the same corp so i got concorded ( i knew before but in my excitement i forgot to drop fleet before tackle and forgot hulk wasnt in corp) .
Second attempt i almost got a badly fitted stratios in a mission but he killed me in half structure cause my reps where 1 km short of range to help out ... Fail.

Until yesterday when it finaly went my way!

I joined a small corp with a less then 100k sp alt with a catalyst , and managed to convince a guy to run missions with me in they're home system. He accepted . So i warp my main in a osprey with my alt at a safe spot , droped fleet and invited him to another fleet. As soon as he joins he warps to me . I ended up ransoming him for 60 mil + 80 mil in assets. Blew up his raven and his pod for total value of 450 mil aprox .

And last night was a better one . I created my own corp aswell 2 days ago to try at reverse safari when i saw my previous safari's didnt work. And i manage to recruit 2 people ( i hope they dont read this ) that i couldnt do anything cause they had to log but i hope for luck today.
Abit later in the night i spoted a guy in the recruitment channel advertising himself in a strange way . Started talking that he has an orca with boostss , 13 mil sp this and that.. so i convod him . Turns out he was a returning player after 4 years. I was amazed at my luck . I started to tell him the benefits of my corp etc , he was excited . I also telled him i have a freighter i can use to move his stuff cause he had assets all over the place. He accepted and asked me how we do it?

Oh God , i told him how to make a contract , and told him to make all contracts as " item exchange " with no pay and no reward.. the moment i saw a contract with an orca , a raven and a domi + other smaller contracts.. i just couldnt stop laughing .. i just couldnt believe it! Aprox 1.1 bil value from all the contracts.

Trully.. i was getting bored with eve , but now... Game on baby!

Last note , a question to the fellow pirates , how do you do this without feeling bad? Cause after i took that guy's stuff , after i while i felt bad for it... And granted i had his api , i knew he had 150 mil plus he was in a hulk and i left him that, still felt bad.

P.s. i wish i could link proff which i have cause im typing from my phone, will edit later.

Congrats on your work. Always good to see new up and comings. I for one also went to Mr Monk with my questions on how to set up a proper safari.

hmm very good point , although .. i will probably continue to only take 70-80% of what i can , dependin on the situation , from a player .. i don't rly want to strip everything .. guess im not 100% evil :)

Think you could take the whole lot, not only is it a game, but getting back on the feet isn't that big a deal. Doesn't take much to buy a frig and earn isk in FW or probe down stuff for salvage hacking sites. And or mining if the victim is so inlined.

Thanks for sharing the story, made a good read.

This.

Also, you may just have saved him from the horror of mining, and inspired him to hunt you down like a rabid dog and train up those PVP skills.

You are a saint, sir, a true and blessed saint.

Got 2 more events that just happened .

First off i managed to get in to another corp with yet another alt just fresh of the bat and done training , somewhere like 180k sp . The dude that interviewed me was very thorough . I cannot believe alot of people have become that afraid when recruting . So eventually he let me in .

So as i was heading towards they-re home system in gallente , moving in tandem with my main in logi , he offered to guide me through lvl 4 missions . He fleeted me up and oh God , he was in a Golem . Now at this point i had 2 issues , 1 would i have enough neuting power ? and 2 . how can i go about this ? because he invited me to fleet so i had to think of a way to drop fleet make another with my main and have him warp in the mission while i get tackled and hopefully not die before alt shows up .

Luckly enough for me he made it easier , he did a mission while i was pretending to be afk answereing the door and what not , and told me he's w8ing for me at the last pocket so i can come and loot the wrecks . Thank God i remembered that i can make a bookmark and drop it in my cargo to share .

So i quickly warped back to the first accel gate , bookmarked it , warped to my alt at the SS , droped the bm , he got it , then warped both at the accel gate . I enter with the catalyst to him , logi right behind me , i get tackle turn both small neuts on ( had fited an extra one to my catalyst and jus 6 guns figured when he runs out of cap hell die eventually ) but sadly .. with logi support of 3 medium shield RR and 2 energy transfers the golem manages to blow my catalyst .... darn ... fail ..

Any tips on how to improve in that situation ? Also i dunno for sure how to cope with marauders and that bastion thingie..

Later today , finaly a corp member from my reverse safari corp logs in , i knew from the api he had a gnosis with sister's launcher for exploration and 160 mil isk liquid .

Again he proceeds to tell me he has assets and would like to move em to our main base , so again i offered the ol' " i have a freighter i can move them for you " . HE bites and i quickly teach another guy how to make a contract , same as before with the other dude " item exchange " on everythin . Valued at 100 mil .

After which i told him he can come down in his gnosis , warp to me and we can go exploring together , so he does . I tackle and neut and start to shoot him . He was mad , i told him to pay 150 mil to keep his ship and have his stuff back ( i didint feel like bothering to sell mostly junk but in big quantities ) . He then , ofc by nature , asked how would he know if i keep my word ?
To prove i am an honorable e-space pirate i quickly remade a contract with his stuff but placed a price on it , 150 mil , so he would buy his stuff back with basicly the ransom money . He did , blowed up his ship afterwards and his pod . The sister's launcher droped + other stuff .

Total value destroyed 140 mil . Total money made 150 mil + 60 mil in loot drop .

Nex target , hopefully next week cause the dude is US tz , he runs in a blinged out tengu for missions and buys plex , so that should be fun :)

Hey thanks :) glad you guys enjoy my little adventures .

I wish i had more alts to do this with , its been kindah slow lately . I was close to getting a rattlesnake last night but the dude played it smart and decided to w8 a day or 2 before joinin corp ..so we will see how that goes .

I did manage to get 2 alts in to 2 different corps ,but now it comes down to actually meeting someone worth to shoot and ransom in my timezone , at the very least my alts will make some days in a corp and not seem like major corp hopers .

Ah but the funniest thing happened to me , i wa doing some suicide ganking before all of this so got some killrights added up , and for some reason i can't remember,my alt had a killright on me that i made available to All for 100 mil . And at some point it was startin to get annoying beeing made suspect all of a sudden while traveling my logi all over to support my alts so i decided to take care of that .

After i lost 2 killmails that where set to all for no isk , i had left my own alts kill mail so i thought no one will pay 100 mil to kill an osprey . But oh lol ... marmite can be such fun sometimes :))) Here i undock my logi wanting to go help my alt and all of a sudden , outside Dodixie , i'm suspect and im blowned up ... and with 100 mil richer on my alts wallet ... lol , that was definitly a good laugh

IF this thread is apreciated by people and the ISD's won't mind il keep addin stories as i go on :)

Thanks for your support guys , also any tips / tricks and help that you may know i would apreciate :)

Definitely some cool stories, makes me want to try my hand at this AWOXing profession.

I would mostly just enjoy being the neutral logi. (I don't want to punch anyone in the face but i'll laugh if my buddies do it, mentality)

If anyone has need of this service hit me up with an email or ask in the BU channel.

edit: i love that you feel bad about it but continue to do it anyhow, lol. I'm sure you'll get over that.

Do you feel bad when building hotels on Boardwalk and Parkplace (Monopoly)? Do you feel bad when you trick your opponent into moving his king to a spot you will checkmate him from (Chess)? Do you feel bad stabbing a sniper in his back (CoD)? Do you feel bad when he only has two cards and you throw down Draw 4 (Uno; trying to find a breadth of examples here-go with it)? Do you feel bad when you steal your friends TV and sell it to buy drugs (RL)?

If your answer is "No" to all but the last question and "Yes" to the last, then you have a proper understanding of how video games are different from real life.

Eve is a competitive video game. You won that round. Congrats!

You have a good point sir and i thank you for sharing it with us in my thread... But.

You know aswell as i do there are certain people in our eve universe that take these things more personaly . Eve is also diferent then board games, card games and chess..a game yes like the rest but different .. don't have to look any further then the whole erotica 1 incident which i am neither against nor for it .

I guess what i am trying to say is that i want to do this cause its fun and exciting but at the same time i worry abit that my next target might have a heart atack, pass out , get so depresed he starts hating his life or gets so mad he literaly destroys everything in his "basement" ... These things can happen , have happened before.

Thats all i am sayin... And maybe some of you will say that if i feel like this then i should stop... I'd still say frack it your stuff is mine! But i also don't think its wrong to share a little sentiment about it.

I think the best idea when doing this type of thing is simply to do it and say nothing. Any response gives people closure and the torment of not knowing "why" is much worse.

RollI like he part where you jumped into low and our ceo killed tou and your genolutikn logi alt. Don't go into low it defeats the whole point of joining the corp.

Eithet way seems you got better! Take more patience. When you jumped our stratios you were too eager... wait for the right moment to be able to get you logi alt in. Perhaps have them warp to you at zero and have the logi alt already there. You blew tour cover too soon againsy us.

Id suggest learning some basic pvp. you demonstrate d a lack if funfdamental skill (losing a pod in low) that you would gain spending a few day in an FW compound. Also find a better way to transfer money over to your alt. there are a few ways to do it that are API proof.

Get T2 logi alt. Tracking boost and more reps ftw.
Best of luck on future safari

Does your reverse safari corp have room for a pilot or two? I also have some tornado alts I rarely use that I can toss in to make the corp look more "full" if you'd like. NTM getting a long-ish term corp on them can look good.

Those are entirely inapropriate comparisons. It is a lot more like the teamkilling tro in COD since you are preying on the understanding that your team is on your side and has similar objectives. 2ndly in COD you just respawn in EVE you spend 2-3 hours sometimes just to regain whatever was safaried.

Good for business.
