Fanfest workout with devs?

We had one last year and it was a glorious feast of sweat, pain and gritted teeth.

We might be able to organize something similar, on the Wednesday for example (no time taken from scheduled fanfest activities), and I wanted to check if there was enough interest to do this again.

This would be some sort of circuit/bodyweight training at our local MMA gym, Mjölnir. You wouldn't have to be a pro gym monster to join. Everyone just goes at their own pace and there's no pressure to push yourself more than you want.

Only if we get a chance to "spot" for the Dev/GM/ISD/CSM of our choice. Not that there would be any "unfortunate" incidents... Lol

was their last year it was a really good activity outside of the normal fanfest stuff.

Hopefully theres enough interest that we can do it again

This is the most bizarre, awesome idea ever.

If I were able to get to Fanfest this year I would be in for sure. Someone's gotta keep the lighter weights from being bored.

So not to interfere with the golden circle tour and the monument unveiling, which are on Wednesday I believe, I'm guessing it'll be a pretty early workout.. still interested though, sign me up! Big smile

Hey guys! Due to the public holiday yesterday and lack of available manpower to run this, we couldn't do it this year. Sorry I didn't let you know earlier.

Anyone still here on Monday can talk to us about joining us for a lunch workout and we'll do something for next year probably.

Since Reykjavik is such a scenic city, I did a run on Friday morning during FanFest this year. If I go next year, I'll probably bring my running gear again. Perhaps a run would be a good way to get people to exert themselves while at FanFest?

Hopefully I will be going next year aswell and bought some new running shoes last week, a run would be excellent, nice idea :-)
