From what is on the Mittani article... sounds like they aren't part of them, but alas that's all I've read on the topic (missed the stream :/)

You didn't miss much. It's what was unannounced that was more exciting, ie:

• Recons and T3s on deck for rebalancing (possibly something interesting with rigs)
• Significant changes to the Phoenix and capital missile systems
• Pending rebalance of Orca and Rorqual
• Module tiercide (T1, T2, Faction, Deadspace, Officer) - this looks really exciting

Oh, and there were two AT ships… Expect the major ship announcement tomorrow at the keynote.

I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.

The Phoenix is losing the kinetic damage bonus and explosion radius bonus for a shield resistance bonus and explosion velocity bonus. Capital missiles are getting a huge missile velocity increase as well as rate of fire increase to offset the loss of the kinetic damage bonus. All tentatively planned for the Summer release.

Why were the AT ships even considered to be a secret reveal? weren't they leaked months ago?

Yes. I think most were expecting "actual" ships to be revealed, so yes - you're right - not much of a surprise.

Right, everyone I talk to in eve doesn't even consider those to be actual ships, there just prizes for the top 1% of eve.

I watched the stream. 2:6 ships are the rewards for winning the tournament. I do not know how that news site got it wrong. fozzie left no room for misinterpretation.

BTW, i would not bother quoting from a secondary source. Always try to quote from the primary source. It is just the best way to avoid spreading misinformation.
