* Please make the business-management side of Eve more smooth and user-friendly. I'd like to see orders under your Wallet become highlighted if a competitor is under-selling or outbidding them.
* Also I'd like my orders to be highlighted whenever I look on the Market so I know which ones are mine.

In the Planets section of the Science & Industry tab, there is room for an extra column where a player could leave themselves a note about what the planet does. Where now you just see, hypothetically:

Adrel XI
Charmerout IV
Yona II
Yona III
Yona V

Something like this would have a lot more information:

I do a lot of PI and I generally have to check my spreadsheet every day to remember which products are coming from / going to which planet.

here are some things which bugger me since ages:

- UI in Space especially (list of objects in space, chat frame, drone frame, navigation frame, fleet frame etc)
All this list type ui frame elements are terrible to interact with, look strange and respond slow, not intuitive!!
New ideas are needed, get rid of list style that's so 2001. There urgently needs to be something done. New players get shocked by this pile of ugly lists.
Wordcloud of SpaceUI: listings, Complex, Frame Maze, not-responsitive, not-intuitive, Horror, eye-shocking.

- POSes. Are these big , hughe space orbs still needed? can players archive all this thiungs with offices and stations nowadays? They do feel unatural. No one in real Space would create a pos. They would build a station with modules or use satelites or landing mobiles.
Conclusion: Feels bizzare, unnatural and way to complex. I try to avoid the word immersion but each time someone talks about a POS i think WTF.

Station Vault Gantry

A reasonably small item (100m3? 1000m3?) that can be combined with a bunch of parts in-station to make a Station Vault or Station Warehouse, for people who live in 0.0 stations that don't have accessible manufacturing slots. Cannot be turned back into the gantry once assembled.

Don't introduce more T3 ships, they're impossible to balance amongst each other (as it has turned out) and even more impossible to balance against normal ships. If you want to do something T3, iterate on the current ones.

What NEEDS to be done is lowering optimal range on pulses and lowering the range bonus from scorch, combined with dropping base falloff on AC's (the TC/TE boost was way too good). Apart from that the Cane needs a nerf (drop damage bonus, add 7th turret slot) and the Drake needs a nerf as well (remove mid slot).

Little thing for immersion (but somewhat greater impact on local tactics). Have planets and other bodies actually orbit stars as time passes (an update every day at downtime, not a real time position change to ease server load).

Bookmarks on the other hand would remain static positions in the system.

Maybe this was already posted but I don't have the heart to go trhough 60 pages :)

More work on bot detection especially macro ratting bots. It was great this year when all those macro miners go banned. Now how about macro ratters? I report and report all these dudes in Venal who blatantly bot 23.5/7 yet never get banned! Same thing with all the big macro anomaly runners in Geminate. It is really disheartening when you play this game the legit way while these dudes cheat 2 win pretty much.

Hi Sound,

I don't know if it's a "little thing" but please revise the general frigate concept.

With exception of interceptors , cov-op's and cyno hulls , generaly speaking all suck to some degree.
AFs, EAFs, tons of T1 crap frigates..endless list.

Key issues were pointed out by Pattern Clarc correctly:

"Frig survivability needs to be improved. They have too many predators without heavy missiles and artillery and autocannons being considered, and the signature reduction bonus didn't do enough....

Essentially the dynamic is thus, tech 3's and hac's are preferred because of EHP, whilst frigs contribute little to dps, and often spend a lot of time trying not to die instead of doing something useful."

How about we finally get some kind of flight recorder/video recorder to allow us to review battles (What went wrong, what went right, etc)

Not only is it usefully tactically, but if you allow export of videos, it would also allow for a new level of marketing for Eve, as people would be generating more videos up on Youtube in much prettier angles, minus the UI or with. More or less, think about giving us the tools you (CCP) use to create the beautiful trailers you make.

Serious usability issue about avatar movement control

The current way of controling avatars in EVE is quite different from other games, and I have to say that your new way feels wired, unintuitive and doesn't have any real merits. It will become a big problem for WiS as soon as WiS gets actually involved with the game. It is not very obvious now only because that WiS is not a meaningful part of the game and almost no one really use it yet.


Independent to camera direction: the key A/D means turn your avatar left/right, while key W/S means move the avatar forward/backward the direction it's facing.

So you can perfectly control your avatar with only your left hand, you can do other stuff with the right hand and you are free to look at anywhere while are walking.


W/S/A/D means move the avatar forward/backward/left/right depending where your camera is facing. So you have only 8 directions to go without moving your camera with the mouse, this means that you have to use both keyboard and mouse to finish the job which usually needs only the keyboard.

Plus you cannot move the camera direction freely when you are moving.

What's worse: because the camera is so close to your avatar, you cann't see where it is going when pressing A/S/D, which means only 1/4 of the keys is really useable.

Some say that you can also use only mouse to move the avatar, but the right hand is almost the only hand involved in playing EVE. Why don't spare it for some other stuffs and left the moving to the idle one?IMAGINE HOW WILL YOU INTERACTIVE WITH OTHER PLAYERS IN THE STATION WHEN YOUR BOTH/RIGHT HAND IS OCCUPIED CONTROLING AVATAR MOVEMENT? And I hate keeping the mouse key pressed down all the time.


Most other games use their way of avatar control for a reason, there is hardly any real merits of the new way in EVE.

A option to use the 'normal way' of avatar control is badly needed, and it will be a must when CCP try to bring WiS to its full potential again. Being 'intuitive' is also very important if you try to attract newbies to WiS, which the current control is not.

When moving the camera around in CQ with medium or high interior effects, light sources shine through the character avatar for a second or two before the graphics engine realises that the source is supposed to be occluded.

Some drone control buttons on the main UI.

Its about time drones were made as easily usable as other primary weapons and modules instead of just fiddly menus'.

Some ideas for buttons

  • Attack
  • Return to orbit
  • Return to drone bay

If there is a shortage of screen real estate, make the button(s) action configurable via a drop down list so the user can decide.

First i would like to mention im playing eve non stop for 3 yrs. Im a walking evewikipedia. Thing i ´do` in eve is mosty pvp, chat with friends and doing director stuffs.

Things that need fixes:

-Black Op overhaul (there is a black op topic on the old forusm from me 11 pages long) Personaly is see best fix is separate bo in 2 classes, 1 bridgy, 1 pvp. Anyhow, jump range need buff with a rule that a bo can jump atleast 1 system at all time. Regional gates are not covered... sytem A----------------10LY--------------system B are inpossible to jump and often camped.

-Electronic attack frigats lack fitting to fit decent e-war on them. They lack speed and hitpoints compared to other T2 frigats. Their scan resolution is lower than some T1 frigats. (need 3 rig slots and more thingy)

-Nos´s are hardly used while they do have great potential now. Neutralisers are the choise more often due their effectiveness vs nos´s. I think nos will be more populair if have more draining power.

-The lachesis and Arazu have as only gallente ship ingame missile hardpoints. This is useless since Gallente is an hybrid and drone race. Ether give them all turret hard point or missile hardpoints or both, a mix is just fail. The arazu and lachesis resist could use a slight buff. The lachesis is and exelent tackler in fleet but dies very quickly due having small buffer or avarage resists. Maybe all combat recons resist should be looked at to let this ship count in fleet battles.

- The amarr faction frigats have realy low dps or with avarge dps fitting problems compared to other faction frigats.

-The minmatar uniform damage needs to be looked at. This is an ability that gives minmatoar more power over other races. Combined with high slot utilities it makes minmatar winmatar. Example neuting hurricane and vagabond. The hurricane preforms better than some T2 hac´s. This needs some looking into.

-The nemisis could use a little fitting boost, it is the worst fittable bomber

-If a player has alot of items in his hangar it can be realy confusing to look for that specific meta level item. An option to toggle on a meta level indicator on items would come in really handy.

-There is currently no indicator execept pressing alt to manualy manouvre into a position that is inline with certain celestials. In example: if u want to set up a mobile bubble behind a gate it is a hassle to get in the right position. Holding alt gives u a bracket that helps u but it is nowhere near perfect.

-Warping itselve from gate to gate is going decently fast but dropping from warp takes often more time than warping itsselve. This affects travel time and makes pvp´ng in nullsec time intensive. Shortening this time would increase travel in null sec and more ships will be blown up. To not affect some high sec professions its maybe something to adjust spacial distortions in null sec on such a way that only in null sec travel speed is affective. Or by following gate to gate trails it creates less spacial drag due your traveling in preset travel path that shortern your warp significaly. This way travel from gate to gate will be faster while gate to belt is normal speed. (thus equal safe while boost travel/roaming) ( make it so it only works when warping within XX range of gate (50?/100?km) chaising gangs getting fun if there is unexpected bubble :P

-Faction appearance in belts has been stealth nerfed, please change them back, faction mods are getting too expensive to fit these days.

-The legion could use a slight bonus to neuting range. It has the normal recon bonus while the proteus & loki has the combat recon bonus.

-Astarte and Eos need some love.

-Imgae auction is terrible. Min bid is always 10%, if u have a 5b item min bid is 500m, It overshoots the entire pricible of auction.

-Auto repeat for DScan at a cetain interval: 2? 5? 7? seconds?

If relativity equals time plus momentum, what equals relativity, if the momentum is minus to the time?
