1. Create a quick-search edit in skill queue window to allow looking for skills if you don't remember the exact skill name or group that the skill belongs to.

2. On opening search tab in Market window search editbox should have the focus and cursor to allow entering search without a need for another Tab press.

3. When creating a remote buy order while docked the small window in which one should enter the station name where the order will be should have default focus, so no need in additional mouse click to enter the field.

4. Add hotkeys to launch drone groups. For at least 5 of them. Like Ctrl+Shift+1 (to 5). Ungrouped drones cannot be launched by shortcuts.

5. Create separate small search for people and places which doesn't require the whole window to be opened. Also same might be done with market window search.

This should be simple to implement.
Wallet
There is an option to make it blink on value changes, but this option is for all wallets
So if I have a personal and a corp wallet, I can ether set it to blink if any of them changes or to not blink at all.
I’d like to be able to have my personal wallet blink on changes but not have the corp wallet make my own blink.
Some might prefer the other way around.

1. In space popup menu improvement: left clicking on a Belt/Planet/Gate automatically warps you to 0 (to default warp range maybe). So no need to wait to open another submenu to do a job that you'll do 90% of the time.

2. If drones are launched from expanded group - drone group in space should also be expanded by default.

3. Show HP of drones that are docked in ship.

Here's some simple ones:

Adjust corp roles so that you don't need 'Factory Manager' to install corp jobs - just the 'Rent Factory Slot' or 'Rent Research Slot' roles, which would then allow you to deliver your own stuff.

At present, to do anything like that you need the Factory Manager role, which allow you to cancel other people's jobs - rather dangerous.

Change the people and places search box to search for everything (systems, corps, people, etc), and remove the dropdown menu.

Add a unique identifier to the AccountStatus API results - the UID for an account used to be the actual AccountID for the account, but now with the new API keys, there is no unique identifier. It doesn't have to be the AccountID again, it can be a unique hash based on that.

Please add hangar view to the asset list so we can unstack/stack/repackage items as well as open containers in a userfriendly way.

Let us change implants without pausing the skillqueue.

Make the damage control passive.

Let us group all active modules, not only turrets and missiles.

Add ewar icons to it's own column in the overview and not randomly on top of everything else and also let us sort overview by ewar.

Move the fleet broadcast buttons to the overview selection screen.

Please let us move any information about AUR to the NeX store interface, we don't want it in the wallet nor wallet tool tip.

Give us an AUR donate button in the NeX store so those that don't want to get involved in AUR easily can have it removed from their accounts.

In the new character 3D preview, have the characters walk and not stand still.

Give us active heatsinks to place in any slot that will counter the heat generation in that rack a lot better then an offline mod at the cost of CPU/PG and cap usage.

The drone window seems awkward to me. Have you considered putting launched drones in a separate window, similar to the fleet watch list? I always want to see whether my drones are taking damage, but my Dominix's drone window is too bulky if I have all drone groups expanded, so I spend lots of time expanding and collapsing as I launch and recall groups of drones. Also I want to have my launched drones appear near some part of the screen I watch a lot--my HUD or my targets--so that I notice if they take damage, but I don't need to see my drones in the drone bay, so I'd choose to put them in the bottom corner of my screen if it was a separate window.

Finally, consider giving some hint at what damage type my ship is taking, to improve the new player experience. It broke immersion for me as a new player to have to Google to find out that Serpentis do kinetic/thermal damage, etc., after the tutorial told me I should pay attention to my resistances. If you don't want to make it as easy as breaking down damage by type in the combat log, perhaps there's something more vague that would work. Some ideas I had:

  • The combat log could tell what type of ammo an NPC hit me with, and it's up to me to look up what kind of damage that ammo does.
  • Right by my shield/armor percentage, it could tell me which of the four damage types I have been affected by most (taking my resistances into account) in the last 30 seconds.
  • The shield/armor/structure alarms could be paired with some sort of RP warning in the combat log ("Your armor is overheating!" for thermal, "Concussive forces are straining your armor integrity!" for kinetic, etc.) based on what damage type I've been most affected by in the last 30 seconds (taking my resistances into account). This would tell me what resistance I could try boosting before I come back to attempt the encounter again.
  • [edit] Easiest, and maybe best, of all: Add a short note to the end of the Show Info on NPC factions, e.g. "Serpentis forces usually deal kinetic and thermal damage." It's just a hint for new players after all--they will look at damage tables online later.

I'd like to see a unique identifier added to the API that shows what account its linked to. I can understand not wanting to give out the userID like with the old API system, but with no unique identifier, figuring out if someone gives a new API for their current account or an alt account can get complicated.

When my corp contracts an item to me, and I have the contracting role, the leftmost button at the bottom is "delete". Usually, the leftmost button is "accept". I constantly delete contracts instead of accepting them. :-)

In the "Edit Member Details" interface, it would be tremendously useful if the roles for the "hangar access" (and "wallet division" access) would display the actual names, that'd be awesome.

Having a separate category for "Hangar Access (Starbase)" would be great, too. Having to give someone access to all offices just so he can use the POS hangars is annoying.

Allow players to categorise or label market orders in some way, and allow filtering on those categories/labels.

Bonus points if we can make boolean label filter expressions (for example: a filter for all market orders with the label 'JITA' AND the label 'ammunition').

Allow us to completely remove the translucent quality of windows. The setting we have now doesn't work on the overview. When we get the space colors I think it will be a problem recognizing the color coding on the overview.

Allow three active skill ques.

Have all setting for windows, market, overview to be seperate per character.

Pop-up icon (you can even make it flash!!) over your hud any time someone is warp scrambling/ ECM'ing/ TP'ing you. Different colors for for each one, and perhaps a target back function as well.

Please.....(for Crucible!!!)

Get rid of modal windows (channel MotD editing, bookmark creation, various warnings, ...).

Make things that behave like a window into an actual window I can move, resize, or hide (system info, autopilot route, PI, ...).

At the moment there seems to be a confused game mechanic about Freighter Containers - would be good to get it sorted out

ATM if a go to a POS hanger with a freighter with freighter containers in my cargo hold I can open the freighter container and take items out of the container and place in the POS hanger division from my cargo hold

However I can not do the reverse - that is take items from the POS hanger and place in the freighter container in my cargo hold which to me seems a bit contradictory.

An example of this is when I jump out to my miners with supplies for them - the containers allowed me to drop the supplies in the hanger division but I am unable to pick up the miners compressed ores on th ereturn out trip

Either the containers should be completly sealed and only accessable in stations or should be able to be open and items moved both ways.

I would hope for the latter

I know it's too late for this patch, but perhaps for next patch, (have option to) remove aurum display from wallet completely (unless there is a balance). Most people I know have no NEX stuff, and abhor MTs, so we don't really want to see that currency anywhere near eve, especially after the MTs crisis in June.

if you get to this...

-Allow the stacking(grouping) of all modules of the same name. (the same way turret stacking works)

-show the health of the drones while they are in the drone bay. (to keep track of which ones are injured without having to play the guessing game)
