Capacitor batteries

anybody no off the top of their head if capacitor battery traits stack with themselves?

say i have 2 large batteries. would the 12% energy reflect stack with each other penalized?

if its not penalized... etc etc any info would be nice. and yes EFT doesnt know how do use these abilities the only way for figure out true reflect amount is with ingame testing

I don't think there's a stacking penalty, but don't quote me on it. You might be able to install 2 on your ship, then click view info from the fitting panel. Then remove one and view again from fitting panel. See if maybe the percentages change.

Multiple cap batteries work via the usual method of shield/armour resists. That is, they don't give you x% resistance to neuts, they take away x% of your vulnerability to neuts - with the standard implication that you can never reach 100% by this mechanism.

The difference between batteries and resists is that multiple resist mods are stacking penalised, while multiple cap batteries are not.
