If you are having difficulties downloading the EVE client, I've made the full offline installer available via BitTorrent.

You can download the .torrent file from my EVE-Files area. Any BitTorrent client can be used. If you can't decide, try Deluge, which is very basic and ad-free.

What makes BitTorrent better? If you can connect, you will download error-free. Just be patient. If there is a newer release, I maintain torrents for 1 week without activity, so even if you download at 1k/sec your download will complete eventually.

BEWARE! A newer client release may still force you to upgrade, if you don't have the current revision! New revisions are typically released weekly, but twice a week is common after a major release.

When upgrading, I recommend uninstalling EVE, then installing fresh with the offline-installer (= torrent files). DO NOT SELECT "Remove Settings And Cache For All Users" checkbox in the second uninstaller pop-up window.

i think it could be a great idea that CCP made the torrent available from the DL page, it's now common for game company to do that.

plus some ppl have real trouble with DL speed from CCP's server, this would help...
