Boosting eve - social via simple added game option.

If all chat channels in game
would be made available
via drop down menu in
the in-game "Channels" window.

All channels would be by default "not Public Access" until channel operator would decide otherwise.

Pilots need this feature to be able to expand their social connections;
as is, unless you are connected or in an alliance,
all you can pritty much do is haras the help channel
or local channel.

In my expereince it is all to common for a channel to just die out, and, thus,
along with it a social group that formed there which, inevitably,
leads to some people having no reason to frequent Eve cause all they wanted was that social fun; where as now, all they have is teh vacume of space and the guarded help channel and the hostile local channel.

So, it would let me be able to see all chat channels in Eve?

Do you have any idea how absurdly long that list of "all chat channels in EVE" would be?

I'm not sure your mind is ready to comprehend the vastness of such a thing.

So we would not use a drop down menu.
Do you have any idea how many characters are in Eve?
Yet we can flip through those names, some how.

Would you also disagree that Eve would benefit from having such an open feature for pilots to skim through?

Uhm ... Do I have a way to st my personal channels to "Do not show in that list"? I absolutely don't want that others see my channels, especially those that are for private business.
