wh combat sites escalation, need help

I need to know if rorqual could take place carrier for escalation ?

A rorqual will not spawn the elite BS. However you can use a rorqual as carrierreplacement with your first dread to limit the initial spawn to 6 elite BS.

Thanks for answer but i don't realy know what is elite BS or how things work for escelation. I am learning and i want to do class 5, i watch some video. There are 2 dread and 1 carrier. I don't have carrier pilot atm so i need to know rorqual could take place carrier ? Think it is standart procedure doing escalation

if you already have 1 carrier, rorq doesnt replace the second since it doesnt spawn any BSs.

No i don't have any carrier. I just need one carrier for spawn sleepers. So if i warp to anomaly with rorqual sleepers will spawn or not ?

i read replies, i just don't understand, because of that i am asking again. Anyway so rarqual does not do the job.

They ONLY spawn sleepers if you industry-siege them though. This is a very important note that is not stated on any wiki. Someone should really edit those articles...

ok let me clearify some critical points with Rorqual in Hi-End isk machines:
IT IS ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY FOR FARMING c5-ct6 like a boss. without spawning elite BS (wtf is this) u can transfer shield to ur guys with absolutely 0 fcks given. One and better two rorquals can make ur life much easier and yes, while it is not replacing carrier role in meta u have to warp some carriers if something will go wrong. But remember one simple rule: if u want to be safe and strong use only faction/officer modules on all ur farming ships. it will save u days and weeks of farming plus some unexpected sensations as a bonus! Farm well and convo me anytime for extrafarming tips and tricks.

Allow me to restate what has already been said: a Rorqual will not spawn an escalation wave, no matter what mode it is in. I suppose you could use it to stave off spawning two waves at once, but the webbers will have to stay close, as opposed to a genuine carrier.


I'm still waiting on someone in alliance to inform me of our policy on combat Rorquals.

Well, we already did this: http://lskyl.eve-kill.net/?a=kill_related&kll_id=23005905 so I guess battle rorqs wouldn't be too much of a stretch.
