MTU/Missionrunner Ganking

Ok, before asking my Question, i am ok with ganking...

Anyway, Last few weeks i see more and more killmails where Missionrunners got ganked (and of course MTU Killmails) but how can you lose your Missionrunner Ship to other players?

And i am not talking about Suicidganking with some Tornados most of the killsmails does have frigs on their side.

I dont get it? Did i miss something? How is this possible?

1) Pirate shoots the MTU and/or steals loot
2) Mission runner gets mad and fires on the (suspect-flagged) pirate
3) Pirate is allowed to shoot back, gets under the large battleship guns, tears it to shreds

yes they dont understand the games mechanics. Thats why they die. Its like kicking puppies.

Ask in corp chat :

Its ok if y shoot him ?

Corp m8 say :

What ship fly ?

(usualy t2 frigs)

Corp say :

Ofc you can !!

After 10 sec the same guy say but dont shoot him you will loose your ship.

Mission runner guy :

Ooooo snap to late y shoot him Help Help

Corp chat its like

Zzzzzzzzzzz

And like this mission runners loose theyr ships .
