Are they worth reacting? It seems to be a market more for the WF lot and an awful lot of RL time investment,.

Make a spreadsheet?

To that end IIRC it was a modest gain, but I mostly reacted inside our WH primarily to reduce bulk.

Once setup, it is only matter of filling / emptying silos every few days.

Do make sure that the ISK earned exceeds what you pay for fuel.

Otherwise the tower needs another reason to justify its cost. Example: many low-end towers are used for staging spots.

Q: Are polymers worth reacting?
A: Yes. Otherwise no one would do it.

As suggested above, make spreadsheet. Subtract costs from gross. If the number is sufficiently positive, go for it.

I tried two polymers but the weekly output and the time it takes to sell them means you probably just about break even on the cost of running the pos whilst you are waiting for them to sell.

Think of the POS as a necessity in WH space and your polymer reaction as a nice compression method for your heavy gases.

Isn't that what I said?

I guess if you want to react Polymers you need to be in a WH. I tried in low sec with a tight operation but the buying prices are too low to turn a profit and not enough need i imagine.

You're doing it wrong. Currently, there is only a single Fullerite reaction that is making a loss, based on Jita prices. Granted, only a couple of them are making any meaningful ISK, but it's not unheard of to make 2mil/hour/tower if you buy/sell at the right times.

Is the market big or small in case of creating a bigger spread?
