I get it, ganker ganks freighter, then people compete to kill the gankers wreck before it can be looted. I can imagine a new level of butt hurt happening. +1 for this,

Yes I think its worthy of further consideration and perhaps even the more extreme: stop calling it a "killmail" and start calling it a "destruction record" or something more EVE savvy, and then make a record for everything that is destroyed in the game; no exceptions. At the same time beef up the servers to handle it Big smile

Why get excited over your third page? Sounds suspiciously similar to CCP gloating over empty nul/WH space. "Yeah, we did a great job. Oh, wait." Yes, I can understand how much fun blowing stuff up is, but a sandbox allows for all play styles otherwise it becomes an empty sandbox.

I tested it. Ganked a wreck and talked about it.

One time the ganker was incredibly pissed,
the other time someone completely unrelated to the gank,
but a ganker himself, went seriously mad about it.

It works. It's a good thing. It prevents one more nerf against suicide ganking
and encourages people to give payback.

Instead of having CCP change the game,
the people can take it into their own hands.

This is one big leap into this direction.

It's around as boring for the wreck-ganker,
as it is for the ship-ganker.


Both have to wait for the victim to show up.
Both need kind of patience.


The wreck-ganker has a minor upside though,
because he can annoy the gankers by bumping them or something.
It's something to do.

Or, you know, instapop the scanning frigs for lols...
