Damnation as upgrade to Sacrilidge?

Right, Let me first state that I like black spaceships. I also like missiles (Although I suspect that I only learned to like missiles because they are what you use with black spaceships Lol ). As a result, I currently fly a Sacrilege.

I'm looking at upgrading to a Damnation, as it looks prettier, and is slightly better on paper. I intend to use it primarily for front line brawling, but given that I need near perfect command skills to fly the thing, I may on occasion use it for gang boosting when required.

Is that I practice option? Given that I intend to use it in null for PvE, mostly solo?

Thanks for any advice, and may we one day have a Khanid Battleship! Cool

The long and short of it is that the Sacrilege can achieve higher DPS while staying relatively mobile while the Damnation can field a MUCH more study tank.

This is strictly my opinion: use the Damnation for its intended purpose; as a boosting ship that can provide supplementary damage and/or Ewar. The Sacrilege is already pretty tough... and for PvE purposes you only need so much tank before it becomes overkill.

How did you Veterans start?

Have you thought about the claymore, also missiles and also black but shields rather than armor.

Damnation can't replace Sacrilege as a combat ship.

Actually it can.

Balex run Damnation gangs occasionally, however unless your entire gang is similarly well tanked its probably better just running a Sac.
