AAR: Alexylva Paradox vs Probe Patrol

The engagement began around 15:45 UTC on 4/18 when a Probe Patrol Anathema/Crow pair were spotted on our C4 static. After a brief engagement between the Crow and my cloaky dictor (which resulted in the Crow jumping out and reshipping, if memory serves correctly) the escalations on both sides began. The bulk of the fight took place on our hisec static, where we had established a camp with a bubble-up Phobos, Hurricane, and neuting Geddon; we had a Rapier and kiting solo Exequror at range for support. We failed to break the first ship to land, a Legion, and soon after a larger gang landed and forced our ships on the hole to jump out. Our kiting ships were not as lucky however, and were caught by the longpoint (friction extended?) Proteus and well-placed Stiletto. I think I might have discovered the boiling point of spaceship, given the rate of evaporation our ships experienced. For us this was yet another example of why supporting ships need to be tanky and on the hole with the rest of the fleet.

Praises of Bob, good fight, and good manners abounded in Local. It was a great fight with a cool group of people, I hope we run into them again.

Although I wasn't there ( I asked our pilots to push your Phobos out to high sec so I could get my pods into high sec), I was listening in on teamspeak and it sounded like an enjoyable skirmish.

You guys played well with the limited resources you had and we were glad to let you back into your wormhole after the fight.

hehe :D it was a fun fight i'm surprised i managed to hold on as long as i did with the geddon. i wonder how the legion pilots cap fared
