Issues, Workarounds & Localization

Quite often at null outputs when I request docking permission, I get a "Please Wait..." notification. It's not unknown for me to continue to get this for 5 or more minutes when trying to dock. This is an outpost where there's a standings related docking fee. It happens at other outposts too.

As you can imagine it's pretty dangerous to be loitering outside a station waiting to dock for that long. I have petitioned this before a while back, with not much feedback apart from "not a known issue". For me it's a very known issue and I've had it for years.

Does anyone else experience this?
