Hey guise.

I'm pretty new to this game, I'm just capping 1m skillpoints now. Anyway, I have a question for y'all.

Now I've already taken into account the fact that you need a decent skill base for things like tracking, gunnery, ammo and targeting (lets just assume I'm not ******** and I pick the right guns/skills/ammo). I also have EVE Fitting Tool and EVEMon, so don't tell me to refer to them. Before anyone gives me any wooly answers, I don't want to hear them. That's not what this thread is for.

Okay, the question is:

'For each of these ship classes: T1 Executioner, Coercer and Omen, T2 Stealth Bombers T2 Cruisers specifically the Zealot and Purifier (Amarr Ships) what's a good baseline DPS indicator to aim for, given that you have all your basic ship piloting skills to 3/4 and are lvl 5 in the appropriate guns?'

I want clear cut answers, not the usual stuff I see from EVE vets on these forums 'Oh well if you take into account the blahhhhblahhh boring blahhh'. Just tell me what guns you're using, roughly what skills you have that govern it, and what DPS you're getting.

I just want a baseline to aim for, and since I can't really customise EVE Fitting Tool to tell me what I should be aiming for, the community are the only people who can really answer this question.

I'm trying to get out of this, how close I am to being able to p*ss in people's cheerios in lowsec/nullsec and by knowing what DPS to aim for I kinda know when I'm ready to do it.

I mean currently I get about 60DPS out of an executioner, with T2 guns/scorch. Seems low.

Thank you all, I love you all and I'm looking forward to the negative responses I'm about to receive for my newbie question.

Edit: my opinion on base DPS for said ships, notmy skills or any specific fit in mind either.

Why can't you customize it in EFT? Eft allows you to change skills accordingly so you can see how much dps you're getting at various levels of skills. There are too many factors to give a 'baseline' dps for ships. It depends on what fit you're using, what ammo you're shooting and your skills.

However what Aerie posted is a good indication of what you can do, it seems as though he chose to post with Scorch as the ammo choice so you can get significantly more dps by switching to IN Multi or Conflag depending on teh situation.

EFT also has the built in All Level 5 Character that you can check to see what the max DPS is for a specific fit that you are looking at, and seeing how far your character is in it.

You said you were getting 60dps atm on a fit, what does that change to when you use the All Level 5 Character instead?

As stated before: Use EFT's All Level V option to see how much is possible with the ship. Decide yourself if it's worth undocking with way less than that.. (if you do like half the dps possible: Don't.)

Also: If you plan to fly Zealots and stuff:

I never undocked a T2 hull before having the T2 weapons for it almost maxed out. Imo it's not worth putting a couple of hundred million ISK hull at risk when you do as much DPS in the T1 version of it ;)
