You all are right we shouldn't let the Rorqual into high sec the Orca should just plainly get a buff. Something like 2.25x its ehp, a 15% drones dmg bonus, triple the ore hold, 650-750k ship maint bay, 5% bonus to links, and a lot more mass to compensate the much bigger size.

Yea that looks like it somewhere closer to what the Rorqual is without making it to tanky. No...wait...then you would complain the orca would be in the very same scenarios we are in now, ie. too tanky, too much offensive power, would ruin the roles of freighters/JF, and don't forgot would be too expensive to gank.

There is just no clean answer to the MINER'S main problem because people will be afraid of the answer. I wouldn't have a problem with it because I wouldn't have a need to gank it, don't care if it tries to shoot me in high sec, and I have my own transport that does its job just fine. I also don't mine so that limits my concern until a corp member needs some mining buffs, which is what a Rorqual would be doing in my hands.

You don't need to massively buff the EHP to make it's non-combat uses more effective. At best case an orca can bet battleship tank, which is far from too hard to gank. And it can't fit capital mods which is one of the top problems with capitals (thats why jump freighters are allowed to go into highsec). And unless someone sees an econimic reason to not have 5% bonuses to links (I bet someone has one) I would be fine with that too. I even agree with the larger hold seeing as freighters have recently stepped on the toes of cargo space of the orca. Hell, make it bigger than that if necessary. The only things I didn't like in your response was the massive EHP buff and extra mass (orca is already painfully slow as it is).

And lay off the drones. I have said numerous times that that is not the major problem here. It's the capital capabilities.

I would prefer not to nerf the Rorqual as this may hinder any expansion of use should CCP decide to take it out of the POS.

Somehow I don't see it happen that the Rorqual would be able to enter highsec because it would defeat the purpose of tiericide as the Rorqual is basically a superior version of the Orca.
