Indeed it was and well done to all who made it possible. It IS appreciated.

Shame I had to leave when I did but after 7 hours, and being old, I was flagging.

Met nice ppl and played a console game (yes, I said it CONSOLE) game on the WII console thing but never having played it and having to leave I am not actually sure where i came :)

Still I did not come away empty handed and what I have will be donated to my alliance when I have a look at what I got.

Hopefully there will be another Newcastle meet and CCP will be there.

Last years was, well, REALLY good. So good I can not remember much >:)

Just got home after a 580 mile, 11 hour drive back to the north of Scotland. What an amazing day.

Some thank yous....

First, the venue itself was perfect, just perfect. A cool space, plenty of seating, separate rooms for other games, plenty of drinks and not-outageous prices. Really couldn't have been better.

I didn't meet everyone but thanks to those I did speak to for being awesome. I'll forget some people off this list but OV, Maximus, Marco, Nashh and all you lot.

Thanks to all my Zebros for showing up and meeting you all for the first time!

Thanks to The Bastards for being amazing hosts and supporting Nashh in making it all happen.

Thanks to the incredibly generous sponsors for having so many PLEX and prizes and all that good stuff available. I know ZEBR did very well out of it so there's that ;)

Most importantly thanks to Nashh (and his wife!) for putting together a massively well organised event. It all went so smoothly and I know for a fact that for an event of that size to go smoothly requires a metric fuckton of work. I tried to get him to come out at the end of the event but he was like 'no, I've got to tidy up'. Not going to lie - felt hella guilty at that point. A colossal amount of work went into the event and it clearly showed. I had a blast. So thanks Nashh. I'll be front and centre if you can arrange another event in Antenna for February.

I don't think I can really expand on Xander's quote above...for once the jock has got it right Lol. Thanks for taking time to have a hearty discussion dude, I appreciated it and good to have a CSM member come down all that way, phenomenal effort!

Seriously though, it was great to meet so many people that I don't encounter in game (WHolers, Null sec and OFC CSM). Had some great chats, so much so that my throat was sore from 12 hours of talking!

Special thanks to Fellblade and co for not flaming me on my lack of WH knowledge and sharing some great stories and strategies. You guys really opened my eyes on that front.

Special shout out to the "Enema's". Met them at Fanfest and great to meet them again, even if it was one of those "I recognise you from somewhere" kind of meetings lol. Always good to start from a level playing field eh guys.

The charity raffle was fantastic as was the support from the people on the day. Over £500 raised for a great cause there and that's despite only XL t-shirts+goodies available to the first few to buy over X tickets. Well done all.

The sponsors...so many and so good! I was signed up before but hell, those guys really added to the basket. Great going there.

I've forgotten some peoples name but you know who you are. Met a fellow Hi-Sec dweller and talked about missions, manufacturing, mining, mining op management, all things the 1337 all groan about. ha ha. vOv. Was really good to be around all different gaming styles and hear the stories and discuss.

So, what do I think could be improved?

1) Some CCP presence would be great to see. They start small but with support they'll get bigger and become the EVE Vegas, London Meet, etc kind of things. Nottingham is really good for us north of the Watford Gap or who are a bit poor Big smile

2) I would say more DUST consoles...but damn, I'm so bad I was insta-killed every time I spawned or ran for 10 minutes to get pwned once I get there...so please don't get more DUST consoles! lol.

That's about it...bottom line great event, Nashh, Nassh's wife and the rest of The Bastards pulled it out of the bag.

Was a great night! Well organised and a great bunch of people, i enjoyed meeting everyone i talked with. Congrats to those who won prizes from us and I'm sure we can look at sponsoring the next event.

Felt like **** as been under the weather, but fun to meet loads of people including some Tuskers. Big smile

This was a great meet up.

I got so drunk on my way home i got a bollocking from the coppers and im still feeling the beer this morning.

Was incredibly well structured meet up in a great location.

The only bad thing i can say is that CCP did not back this meet by sending atleast 1 rep, CCP you missed out.

For once i have to agree with xander. thanks for this event, gave me a chance to finally check in with a lot of the guys in my corp. was a lot of fun and i will try to get to more of these from now on

Congrats on all the winners and also thank you for supporting the charity raffle we did. I am sure the money you raised will help them out a lot.

Well Done you done an amazing meet and I am glad I met alot of friends, enemies and the like. I wish I could have met everyone but I was abit drunk. Xander glad to meet ya mate :-) and also Traba Regina and the Bawls deep guys I am sorry about what I did in game lol but I am glad I met ya all. I'm looking forward to the surprise that is coming soon and see you all in feb o/

I do believe you make a contract order to him for a PLEX at Jita IV.

Also our redeem system for the 10m credit found in the first 100s gift bag will be up from tonight hopefully. Apologies that it wasn't ready in time.
