Great tool for the Mac. Use it every day!

I have a long skill plan for a character and want to split it e.g. a separate plan for ships, systems, weaponry, drones etc. I had thought that I could select the relevant skills > copy > paste into a new skill plan but the edit commands are always greyed out and not functional. Am I missing a trick or is this functionality not present in the tool?
