An actual thing that happens in running sites in a Moros, even with all V +implants, is that they get so much pressure from rats that they have to actually stop firing or even drop out of siege even after refitting to cap/rep because the neut pressure is just too high.

A nag will in the same situation not have the same issue and can continue firing while repping because of being able to refit more cap rechargers because of more mids while keeping lows for tank.

So no, DPS is not the only consideration as there are many situations that happen regularly while running sites that reduce or negate that advantage on a Moros while it does not effect the Nag, or effects it less.

Saying that everything but the DPS consideration is irrelevant is extremely shortsighted and narrow minded and is probably the main reason everyone wants to change black holes when they can be run quite decently with Nags.

Sigh.

I'm not really talking about PVE here, because I hardly think there is any room for discussion there. For PVE, the moros is undoubtedly the best dread. The moros has the best tracking and the best dps, which is all that matters for PVE. (Yes I know the nag can get better tracking with titanium sabot, but you do like 8000 dps with it.)

If you're getting capped out, all I can say is that you are bad and don't know how to do sites. Honestly it's a bit odd to me that people suck at doing sites. I've watched a lot of farmers run sites, and very few actually do them properly. Did you know that there are still people who run sites by warping to the anom sig at 0 (?!?!?!??!?!?!).

Just the other day I failed miserably trying to catch a guy who was running sites at 250km from the warpin because I suck at dictoring :(. I have no idea what was going on there, especially since when had my dreads land in the site, nothing (including the sleepless guardians 40km from me) aggro'd. v0v

Edit: Public Service Announcment

In case you or anybody else don't know how to run sites. Here are the steps.

1. Don't quad escalate unless you have enough dreads to do it in 5 minutes.
2. Get two maxed moros pilots, two lokis, and an archon or nid or whatever the **** you want honestly. Get command ship with info links + the mindlink (dat TP bonus)
3. Fit moroses for max deeps (4 mag stabs, T2 damage rig). Put 2 sebos and 3 TC's, all tracking (honestly armor sucks but w/e ill just assume you're not going to get ganked)
4. Warp everything to your bookmark where the sleepless guardians spawn, ideally the moroses shortly after the archon/lokis.
5. Break invul on the archon/lokis first and let them get aggro. Then siege your moros's after e-braking them.
6. Put dank webs on the primary and the secondary.
7. Blast the guardians, if you're not shooting at any point with your moros you're **** and need to be kicked from your alliance.
8. ????
9. Profit

If you can't finish a tri-escalation in 5 minutes doing this method you're garbage, I've done this method myself, multi-boxing all the pilots. I prefer to stick to double escalations though since those are way less effort and I can basically afk through them. It's probably possible to do a quad escalation with two dreads in 5 minutes as well, but I haven't tried. I can only extrapolate from the fact that one moros can do a double escalation in 5 minutes with no loki support, so presumably two can with loki support.

As a last note to refer to the topic at hand. This method works despite the heavy neut and dps pressure because you do 17k dps per moros. You quite literally compensate for your lack of cap/tank with a healthy dose of obscene dps.
