Eve Radio has potentially been scamming the eve player base for a long while now.

The real life cash donations that they ask for live on air on a monthly basis to be made to the website is arguably not representative of the true cost of the station being able to continue to broadcast.

Despite being active in numerous games, Eve Radio fails to openly declare that they are part of a wider gaming network and do not necessarily rely on the real life cash donations they endeavour to get from the eve community, nor is it as i am led to believe, representative of the tue cost of keeping them on air.

If this were to be true. Where does the excess cash go and into whose wallet?

Scams in Eve you say?

This one potentially involves real life cash.

I was provided with good enough internet radio cross comparison cost information to consider making this allegation.

Outwith a response from Eve Radio it can't be discounted.

I assume if everything is above board then Eve Radio can and would be willing to provide evidence of why they ask the amount of real life cash they do from eve players on a monthly basis to remain on air?

If Eve Radio aren't willing to disclose this breakdown then outwith a legal context which can't be brought here, i'd urge you stop donating until they do - elsewise for all you know you are being scammed.

Since you seem to know how much the true cost is of eve radio why dont you share your insight.

Guys, guys... I have this exact same problem with Pandora. $36 a year??? It doesn't cost them that much * all the users to provide streaming music to me. I'm going to demand their financial records as soon as I'm done telling Obama how to respond to the Russian thing and my wife how to lose a little weight.

If Eve Radio are unable to provide a breakdown of how and why they ask what they do in real life cash per month from us eve players to stay on air then they have things to hide,

What it comes down to is that you shout something out of thin air and post it like it’s the truth.
Tell me why would they need to share with you what their expenses are?
And it’s based on donations, I don’t see what your problem could be with eve radio.

It all smells like a cry of attention or grudge tbh
if you think it can be doen better or cheaper start your own eve radio.

They're not going to hand them over to a nobody like you.

Go into your local bank and ask for all their records while you're at it... Watch them laugh your ass out the door...

Quoted from Doc Fury: "Concerned citizens: Doc seldom plays EVE on the weekends during spring and summer, so you will always be on your own for a couple days a week. Doc spends that time collecting kittens for the on-going sacrifices, engaging in reckless outdoor activities, and speaking in the 3rd person."

As my original post hinted, eve radio are asking the eve community for way more real life cash on a monthly basis than they need to keep the station on air given other interests...

Not sure of the EULA implications of this.

Where does this real life cash go?

Clarification from Eve Radio would be good but until then i would urge you not to donate

As Esteemed members of the EVE online community so cheerfully and gleefully like to point out... if you are stupid enough to give money to somebody just because they say they need it, well; that's on you.

Its kind of like voting for Democrats....

What we have here is deception involving real life money.

Donations to keep an internet radio station keep afloat yes, sure.

Asking for more than is required and skimming the cream for personal profit irl, is also know as scamming.

Again, do you even know what you need to run something like E radio?

I have asked Eve Radio to substantiate what they ask for real life cash wise on a monthly basis from the Eve Community.

If they can't do that then case in veritas, outwith sentiment for the good job the DJ's do, questions can always be asked as to where donation cash is going.

It was on good authority i made these allegations. Eve Radio are welcome to retort.

Until they clarify, all i'm, suggesting is don't donate.

I'll simpflify then.

There is a high probability that if you donate real cash to eve radio somedies bank balance increases absent the operatation costs of keeping the station on air.

Don't believe me?

Scams in Eve far fetched?

Donate real life cash to eve radio today Big smile
