After a long debate with myself I have decided to publish my preferred list of candidates. For all of you who don't want to get into research, feel free to copy my list and use it as you see fit... but GO F-ING VOTE !!!

1. Xander Phoena
2. DNSBLACK
3. Mangala Solaris
4. corbexx
5. Mike Azariah
6. Steve Ronuken
7. corebloodbrothers
8. DJ FunkyBacon
9. mynnna
10. James Arget
11. Psianh Auvyander
12. Azami Nevinyrall
13. Proclus Diadochu
14. Ali Aras

I will not be going into a debate why I picked a certain candidate and why I put them on this and that place... I found every candidate on the list, plus a few others who are not on the list, excellent candidates and making a list like this was already hard enough. 14 slots for me was not enough because I had more candidates I liked then just the 14.

Go vote, it's important and you still have some time to think about your list. Go check out the CSM interviews that myself and the Cap Stable podcast have done. If you don't feel like doing research, copy atleast my list and go vote.

Thank you for the effort of the interviews you did and for even putting me on the list.

That's a very strong list of candidates you have there Mr Scorn.

I echo your sentiment that 14 seats felt... limited. Considering the nature of your interviews - the focus on getting to know the individual and having an often jovial discussion - I'm not surprised this was as difficult for you as it was for those who listened to every interview that hit the interwebs. It would have caused you to connect and care for more of the campaigners than you otherwise would have, had you not interviewed them in that way.

I am surprised Sion Kumitomo didn't make your cut. I would have imagined you favoured him after his interview and the follow-up episode on Goon history, but like myself I'm sure you were merely unable to find room on your ballot. I would have felt better if the seat count was increased to 15 or 16 this year (because there seems to be more candidates that deserve the honour than recent years), but I suppose most players aren't as invested in the process as we are and already struggle with 14.

As difficult as it made the selection I appreciated your take, your variation on Xander's interviews of yesteryear. I admit I was originally stunned that you decided to tackle CSM interviews so early in your podcast's life - it seemed one minute you were finding your feet after putting Podside behind you and the next minute... "Oh I think I'll interview every CSM candidate that wants to come on the podcast." Turned out to be a great op success.

Looking forward to more episodes, after you recover from interview burnout.

Tyrant,

Thank you for your objective view. I hope that I may still find opportunity to have an interview. With any luck I hope to have you revise the list, but if even after the interview I don't have you considering revising the list I will know that we have indeed gathered an exceptional group of CSM Candidates. Thank you for considering my request for the late interview and if not out of place I would like to wish all my CSM Candidate peers luck in the upcoming election.

Regards,

Einear

First of all, thank you for the compliment. Not having Sion on my list has nothing to do with Sion himself, the list is too small. Sion is a great guy... heck, all of them are great people. I'd put them all on number 1 but that simply isn't part of the voting process.

I wonder why you didn't contact me earlier because I have been advertising interviews for like 6 weeks now... So I wonder why you didn't take the opportunity when I presented it.

I am done doing interviews for this year. I have a very busy life, I work 3 jobs for 1, so I really expected candidates to atleast be able to send me an evemail if they really wanted an interview. I have clocked out at 20 interviews and I feel that is a really good number.

I have always said that candidates are responsible for their own campaign and the people I have not interviewed have simply not contacted me. On top of all of the other stuff that I do and the things I have going on in real life I simply have no time to contact everyone and I felt that if a candidate wasn't willing to send an evemail my way him/herself, they would miss an opportunity.
