Fair enough, but repeatedly quoting single sentence 'feedback' on balancing changes in a thread mostly focused on the engineering aspect of keeping Sisi usable isn't going to get any attention from the design guys that you want to get answers from. This thread is mostly being read by the testers, and you really don't want us balancing your hybrids P


How about firing off a quick email to CCP Tallest? He seems to have forgotten we exist. Here, I'll even write it for you:

I have noticed strange tiny black artifacts appearing everywhere when I am in space, regardless of settings. Also why did you nerf the Naga's one redeeming trait, its versatility. It can no longer fit missile turrets, and despite the re-balancing rails are still inferior. Forcing this ship to use hybrids (and bonusing range to encourage rails) doesn't mean more people will use rails, it simply means that no one will use the Naga. I think it could have shined as a torp brawler, but no more. This is a mistake, and another big "screw you and tough luck" to Caldari.

more design feedback:
+1 on the new gallente T2 color schemes
-1 for keeping the camo look on gallente faction ships
-1 for the new khanid T2 color scheme. Please don't nerf the Curse's sexyness Cry

In general the new skins look a tad too dark.
The logos could be larger. You could easily double them tbh.

Bug Report submitted as #118791

Certain unicode characters cause the bookmark system to completely stop functionining as reported. The bookmarks are identical to the ones on TQ and work there, but changes to the unicode handling apparently are causing issues?

Gallente captains quarters;

The corporation window opens and the small timer rotates in the top right corner but nothing loaded.

Clicking the planet window opens the Science and Industry window ok but if you select a planet and try and view it all you get is a black screen. If you try and move the Science and Industry window it starts to flicker madly and just smears across the screen. Exiting from the planet view returns you to the CQ correctly.

If you open a fitting window you can right click the ship and select many options including undock.

Dragging and dropping a ship now works in CQ view.

Right clicking the ship also give you the same options as the fitting view.

I like the ‘Enter Hanger’ button now moved to the station services window.

In space;

The new session timer is pretty good give a real countdown without a load of numbers and gets rid of the silly spinning thing.

Love the new warp effect, the tunnel through the planet it really nice.

The engine trails like others have said could be a tad (little bit) shorter, otherwise ok.

The new shiny Gallente ships look good and they have headlights!

Others;

Like the new animated log in screen, I actually waited and watched it for a while.
Hope it’s not spoiled by the new ‘Launcher’.

but....

even though it got redesigned...the Raven still looks like a crippled bird. Can't help it...ugly, ugly, ugly. What?

After what the designers had have done with the brilliant Scorpion redesign in the past and the splendid new Maller afterwards I'm really surprised to see that the Raven will keep most of it's Ugly Duck Design.
Actually the main body isn't the problem so much...but those "wings"; even though a spaceship doesn't need them; SYMMETRY is the keyword...damn it.
But ok. Maybe next time. We've just got to wait another eight years for the next redesign...Blink

The problem is that they've got a warehouse full of diecast Ravens with crippled wings.

That said, I think the new Raven looks great.

Awesome new warp effect ! I just miss a little the doppler effect , maybe you could add some red and blue like before ?
New nebulae, oriented stargates are awesome.
New trails.. already desactivated, Eve is much more beautiful without them at the moment.

But the disapointing thing is this login music.... it's a piece of c*** .
The incarna tune is already not that good compared to theme like Tyrannis or Apocrypha but this one is the worst ever made in Eve history.

I get a similar issue, but it shows up in a totally different way. If I undock and redock: no issue. If I undock, fly away from the station until the station guns drop off the overview, then redock, my avatar is all blue-grey (bug report 118818). Note you got to slow boat off grid, warping to a stargate does not trigger the bug.

I got the same OS and graphics card too.

Works with high graphics settings, will test with low.

The only thing Ive found to reset the avatar's colors to normal is doing a cache clear.

Is there a way to invert mouse wheel zoom while in map mode? It backwards.

Not really a big issue ( I will get used to it in 2-3 years), but bothersom nonetheless.

Kudos on the rest of the expansion.

Glad I'm not the only one, see my previous post, bug report 118702. I was unable to get Cider logs like they asked though, check my posting in the Macintosh forum.

For me is very repeatable and I only had to redock twice and not even go far from station, using high graphics settings. I undocked, waited for timer to expire and redocked again. Second try bam.

My first experience on SIS...
1: LOVED IT
2nd: A couple of things i noticed..

A: Skills not updated. Had really really low range on my drake with HL´s
B: Had some problems in stationspinning mode. Ships didnt turn up.
They were there but i didnt se them. I could interact by rightclick.
C: Got an artefact on my screen with a Scorpion.
(B and C corrected itself when undock)

Specs:

Amd Phenom 9500 Quad
Nvidia 8500 LOWEND
3Gb Ram

Windoz Vista 32bit
Norton 360AV

When i fixed the SISI setup i copied my ORIGINAL EVE folder and pasted
it into NEW FOLDER named CCP SISI. Then i launched SISI Launcher.
It finished and then i started playing.

Could you try again later today when SiSi is back up with a new build? Do you have the 'Load Station Environments' on or off? Did this only happen once or the whole time in all stations?

Had the same exact problem yesterday, it would go from a side view of the ship I loaded the hangar with, then when i swapped ships it would go to top view, but no ship and view would change as i changed from cruiser to cap ship based on size. Everything worked except showing the actual ship.


NOW, one thing that stayed was the fact that you can't spin. Think back to before the Incarna BS, if you unchecked the "Load Station" you got a static picture of your ship. THAT is what I have now. Most ship spinning works except actually being able to "Spin" the ship, and it won't let you drag cargo to the ship.

14GB ram
ATI 5770/4870/3870 (This monitor was running from the 5770 card)
All graphics on high except shader on medium and AA is disabled, HDR enabled

When i visited Sisi yesterday the "Orbit" option of the right-click submenus had wandered to an odd location (not with the other navigation options anymore).

  • the station services window is still bugged which means when you dock it resizes and changes its position
  • links in the chat window are white colored, wth?
  • most of the icons look blurry when you scale your UI to 90%
  • notifications for new certificates have some strange placeholders

It looks like Drone Hordes got nerfed instead of buffed since you can't shoot the bunkers to get the next wave.

If you uncheck your 'Load Station Environments' you will now get a static imagine in your hangar, like it was pre-incarna. It should have all the functionality as it did before. Are you not able to drag cargo to your ships cargohold?
