You finally got one right.

EVE is a game about spaceships and there's an enormous amount of work to do on the in-space gameplay before players (or developers) are ready to sacrifice it for a totally new type of gameplay - CCP Rise

Plex prices are up about 20% since the 2nd iteration of the ESS was gifted to null sec, with no end in sight.
I am sure there is zero correlation between those 2 facts.

ummmm there is a zero correlation between those 2 facts

now if you had said - hey they released some new stuff that forced people to trade in plex - ie: ship skins to buy AUR to get said skins you might have got me

but the isk faucet from null rattting has not changed significantly since the ESS was released. Some alliances dont even use it or ban it in their space and those that do have it often have ongoing fights with people for or against it.

its a 'MEH" item that adds little imho to the overall gameplay and is more a nuisance item that anything of value. As for LP rewards i could care less about them since i have to go to high sec to collect on them and i really do detest having to go there.

This exploit was implemented about 20 seconds after CCP dropped the ESS on TQ.

Only in your universe is a legitimate use of game mechanics called an exploit.

Actually an exploit is something you do when you use something aggressively. "I exploited the loophole" or "I really exploited that Goon after slipping it a Roofie".

This is highsec's fault. Highsec was not nerfed so plex prices went up, look at that correlation coefficient I bet its approaching 2.

While I'm sure you can find a way to spin this too, it probably has more to do with the mineral run going on after the refining changes were announced.

Wasn't there a plex price spike after the drone poo nerf was announced, too?

Slapping it in an anom and shooting all the triggers is fantastic fun to watch, literally 75 rats circling it really does dissuade any intruders from taking it, with hilarious consequences.

Removing stuff from nullsec is a nullsec cartel conspiracy, too. Perhaps GSF told the devs that PL were eventually going to take the drone lands, so they made sure the space would suck balls when it happened. Roll

So how do you get the ESS yourself when you eventually want to loot it?

lol

*drops Depot 100km away*

NPCs start moving towards it.

*drops another depot another 100km away*

and another, another, another.

While the stupid carebear has no chance ever catching any of them,
or simply not all of them,
I can dock, because after a few minutes of dropping deployables I can be certain that the mission runner has given up.

Yeah no there's no way anyone would find a way to make such game mechanics fun.

I just leave it...it's better as a honeypot.
