I was looking in the market and seen a new skin for the mack. Needing to reactivate 2 accounts to get the thing is a tad annoying so I ask is it possible for people to get the hulls another way? Like AUR or something?

That being the case why are you asking us whether or not it's worth it because it can't be quantified and is personal preference.

I have removed a rule breaking post.

The Rules:]

Racism, gender stereotyping and hate speech are not permitted on the EVE Online Forums. Derogatory posting that includes race, religion or sexual preference based personal attacks and trolling can result in immediate suspension of forum posting privileges.

And to answer the OP: The skins have been added to the game client but have not been activated yet. When they do (probably in the near future) you can buy the BPC in the AUR store and knowing the entrepreneurs in EvE, shortly after that the completed ships on the market for Isk. Most probably at a 'slightly' increased price level compared to the original...Blink

I don't mean to hijack this thread by jumping on this post, nor do I mean to belabor the point. However, when we are talking about racism, hate speech or derogatory posting, including race or religion, do you mean to say that I, from Gallente origin, cannot make a.. poignant observation, which would fall within the category mentioned above, when I said something less-than-completely-cordial about an Amarr citizen?

Because you do understand that they poison our Minmatar brethren with Vittoc, right? I don't have to pretend that I like that just to avoid upsetting their delicate sensitivities, do I?

/It's a serious question.

I could not possibly agree more and I'm interested in these skins myself since I use a Mackinaw often.

It's just that the point raised piqued my interest and I wanted some clarification. I did not want to drag this other consideration into this thread. It would not have occurred to me if ISD Ezwal had not raised the issue in the first place.

Going back to your original point: is there a reason why this new livery is only provided for the Mackinaw and not for the other exhumers? It seemed odd to have it be reserved for Mackinaws only [save the command ships] and not for the other exhumers.

You have no right calling this a game when you mine...with 9 toons even.
Also; EVE is real.

The comments Ezwal bleeped referred to real-life race (or whatever you technically call it). I don't think anyone cares about RP in-game racism, unless it's a thinly-veiled proxy for real-life racism.

So, partaking in the industrial effort, which will allow other pilots to fly the ships they want to fight with, either by providing the raw ores, the minerals and the fuel for ships and POS's, is not a legitimate endeavor.

How, may I inquire, would you propose to acquire the space frames that will enable you to engage with the environment in the manner of your preference? Do minerals materialize out of the free-floating molecules in the air? Do you fuel your capital ships and pilot-owned stations by wishing very hard for them, or do you appeal to the deity of your choice?

To paraphrase a military mind on old Earth:

"Son, we live in a universe that has asteroid belts, and those asteroid belts have to be mined by men with strip miners. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Garak n00bjachi? I have a greater responsibility than you could possibly fathom. You weep for pirates, and you curse the Miners. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know. That a miner's death, while tragic, probably saved lives. And my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, saves lives. You don't want the truth because deep down in places you don't talk about at gate camps, you want me in that asteroid belt, you need me in that asteroid belt. We use words like jet can, can flipper, mining crystal. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punchline. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very minerals that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide them. I would rather you just said thank you, and went on your way, Otherwise, I suggest you board and exhumer, and start mining. Either way, I don't give a damn what you think you are entitled to."

Something important to note: at the moment it is not possible to repaint a ship that has rigs on it afaik. You have to strip off any rigs currently on your macks once the mack BPC comes out.

Also my guess as to why only the mack will be available to start off with is the same reason why only one battleship/frig/cruiser of each race is available and not all of them. They are still just checking to see what the interest is in the ship painting project.

I hope they will make it possible to paint rig fit ships at some point and potentially even T2 ships.

I want an EOM painted Paladin soooooooooooooo bad.

Like, imagine how badly you'd want to bone Emma Watson right?

Well it's not quite THAT bad but it's in the same ballpark.

If I could get one I'd train for a Pally right this second.
