Hi guys,
I made a character for my buddy and i trained him for assault frigates amarr so we can do some pvp when he learns the game.

I'm thinking next to max cruisers so he could fly a curse or a legion.

Is this the correct path to choose since we would do some pve also to learn the game and make some isk to have pvp action so we can afford our ships.

Or should i train him for battleship?

And maybe some exploration together at sites.

Ok I'll do that .They told me legion can do level 4s with me since I wil fly a battleship or something to help him and learn the game.Is that true?

You could do lvl 4's in a drake.. of course you can do it in a legion.

Don't make your friend fly a curse.. If you really want to make him fly a cruiser get him a HAC

No I don't want him to fly a cruiser I want to have fun with him in pve and pvp and choose a good path so don't do the same stpd mistakes I did which I went straight to battleships and I barely could fly them since terrible support skills etc.So zealot path and general cruisers are worth it?

Honestly? I'd suggest butting out at this point.

You've already set him up for frigates so drop him a bunch of Punishers and whatever other frigates you think he might find useful and then take a step back.
Rather than coddling him by setting him on paths you choose; give him the opportunity to own the character, the opportunity to make his own mistakes, the opportunity to take things off in a direction you just can't forsee...

Feel free to advise him, but get him to invest in the character - otherwise none of his choices have any meaning and therefore neither do any of his losses, or indeed, his victories.

You can do L4 missions in HACs easily, however the most efficient PvE ships are Battleships, youll need better support skills for them but they are without a doubt better. However HACs and cruisers are far more versatile as you can PvP in them and also do PvE in more dangerous space such as lowsec, wormholes or nullsec. Personally I would focus on Cruiser sized ships (T1, Faction, Heavy Assault Cruisers and T3s) first because they are more versatile, but you don't want to get stuck doing missions only in these, go out there and try some lowsec or wormhole sites which can be very profitable and far more fun.

The thing is we want to have fun together and do plenty of stuff like low sec and wh except level4s.After all it's a game and if we only think about isk we miss the point and having fun.Thank you a lot and i ll take him for maxed cruisers.

I think you should biomass the character you made and have him learn on his own from the ground up.
