As much as I love the minerbumping page, it's been outdone in recent weeks by some of the content on Feyd (can't think of his last name)'s blog.

The story of him probing down a mission runner's Talos and killing it with a battle Venture was pure gold. And his kill-it-forward project has led to me getting active in ganking miners again.

Thanks Sabriz, surely everyone from CODE and Kill-It-Forward is doing the LORDS's work during these troubled times.

p.s.
We did it again, this time a Kronos and a Rattlesnake, and followed up with posting a 'how to' for anyone that want's to try sploding a carebear in hisec and join the HTFU Jihad.

Not sure if anybody else notices, but that faceless alt has quite a few rings in his style of writing that make him sound like erotica 1.

Probably just a huge coincidence that his thread is about one of eroticas most favourite topics too.

Ban OP, gas thread.
Just FYI, while I doubt the OP is Ero, there is nearly no chance that Ero is not playing somewhere. Undoubtedly, within minutes of the ban he had a new account plexed and scammed himself up to a few billion, because stupid people remain stupid. That said, I doubt he'd be posting a thread like this so soon after.

I sincerely doubt this. We have had out of game contact with him, and he seems to be moving focus to star citizen.

You know, I used to think the minerbumping.com guys were complete assholes.

After sticking around a bit more in EvE and living in lowsec/wh I can clearly see what EvE offers now.
While I am a good person in real life, I feel amusement and a morbid fascination with miner tears, I don't know why, I used to mine in hisec but it was terribly boring, sure, mining once in a while is relaxing but all the time? nein nein.

90% of the times the tears comes from being AFK, I can testify to this since I've screwed up like this once and It will not happen again.
The remaining 10% is spatial awareness, not being AFK, and not being a greedy ******* and fit some tank.

Again, I have no shame in admitting I have a morbid fascination with tears. If the tears could be had with breakfast, I would have the perfect breakfast.

I find miner bumping better as something to do than read about

What?

How did you misunderstand my single sentence this much?

"What's desirable about increasing risk?"
Everybody who indulges in low risk play is cheating themselves, or has a head problem. Months of repetetive mining, or minerbumping is morbid. Kidding yourself that it makes tons of spaec munniez or harvests many tears is just excuses.
All relentlessly same playstyles need a foot in the arse. Also: happy people seek risk, unhappy people seek reward. Up the risk in someone's spaecships experience and you open up a new level of engagement.
Armies of bots and botlike players in null, children, gates guarded by hundreds of bubbles and cloaky T3s though.
The minerbumpers are bot aspirants too, if this jazz is still playing in August.

Ya know I don't mine, I don't gank.

So about the activity itself I couldn't give a fly.

Why it needs one guys name or alliance no one knows. Ganking in basics requires a corp or alliance even less than the miners they gank. But thats a silly little detail.

But if you want to sponsor someone with a thread on the forums, pick a site thats well made at the very least. Not talking content, because tl;dr but the look. I opened that site and thought I was in the 90s again.

One of this fanboys must surely know how to make a decent looking site...

Reading this site is like going into the darkest weirdest nerdhole on the internet.

It's like a bunch of special needs kids got stuck on an island ala Lord of the Flies and couldn't quite remember how to play their favourite game and instead ended up playing a ******** backwards version of it instead.

It blows my mind people actually spend their lives either mining or doing this minerbumping stuff. To make a whole website out of it? Jesus alive.

The whole fascination with "tears" is a really interesting subculture though. Something that in the adult world in polite society one could never admit to - but behind the veil or anonymity on the internet amongst the aspergers and obese kids locked in their bedrooms it can somehow flourish freely. If instead of enjoying games like a normal person you find yourself fascinated with and only playing to cause others grief or stress, you need to seek help or do something else with your life.
