I notice that my Buy \ Sell transaction log only goes back 30 days. Is there a date limit on the logs? If there is then that makes it hard to verify the original purchase price on items that I want to sell later - and make a profit on :)

I too find that problematic. At times I purchase more than enough stock to cover a month of use and then some. When I find a good deal, I hop on it knowing full well that I will not need the amount I purchase for a short term.

When I am trying to find what to list my sell orders at and do not find my original purchase, I log into my account at eve-mogul.com and search my transactions for my purchase. It won't help you with stuff older than 30 days until you have been a member with them for that period of time or longer.

Here's how it works.

Sign up with API and get 7 days free. Use it to track your transactions without having to manually calculate every little sale to see your profits. Anything you have purchase in the last 30 days that pulls up on the API will be tracked. Same with sales.

3 months later you go to list an item. Eve-mogul has saved your transactions so you can check your buy price while eve online will no longer have that info.

Confidently list your item for a profit or hold off knowing that the current prices are too low and maybe it's time to buy more or liquidate at a loss.

Try it out!

I am not affiliated with eve-mogul but I do make use of it. I have since mid February when I got back into heavy trading after a LONG break from the game.

In the light of reports about a drastically reduced transaction history, CCP Explorer comes forward with clear facts: The Transaction history in the Wallet is 30 days, the Journal history in the Wallet is 90 days, and the code around those histories were last changed in May 2012.

so bearing that in mind you'll need to use a third party tool if you want to keep a longer transaction history.
