And Mr Grib, I am very interested in your abundant targets. Are these mostly highsec? Do you just scout about for vulnerable looking POS etc?

High sec yes. And yes, we scout for POS'. If you look long enough and in the right places, there are plenty of targets for those willing to act on them.

OP needs to use 'lol' less. And explain magical free minerals. And look up Opportunity Cost.

Zappity needs to look up definition of word expendable and put two and two together.

I never said they were free. I simply meant that me not having to pay for them made them expendable. The POS is not.

I guess I would interpret that to mean that you value your isk more than you value your time. If that is the case then I can understand your statement, even if I do not agree with it.

For ships, station manufacturing lines may well be easier, there are areas in EVE where the station manufacturing lines always have space. Otherwise you'll find the entire POS taken up by the various size ship manufacturing arrays and maintenance array without much (any) room for labs, if the ship manufacturing arrays will even fit in a small POS which I doubt. Also T2 ships are more expensive to build in a POS than a station.

At the moment, refining at a POS is pointless. After the planned summer changes that will change, but at the moment there's no reason at all to refine in a POS unless you like discarding 25% of your minerals

I've planned a small Minmatar station and it can run small and medium ship assembly arrays (Not at the same time though).

You ideally want a small, medium and large array. The large is invaluable if you need to store large quantities of minerals at the POS. 18.5 million m3 storage for the win.
