Feedback request on Contract system

When I make a contract to a specific player (private) using "exact phrase only" it 'forgets' the setting the next time I make a contract. If it remembered your chosen setting this would be quite the time saver for people who make a lot of contracts.

eg. someone using the same courier service a lot, sub-contracting courier packages to an alt etc

1. Make overview better for when looking at contracts, for example to something like this Contract Overview(Old/New). Not only it will make easier to look what you are buying / selling but it will reduce amount of contract scammers due to better overview.

2. Fitted ships in contracts should maybe have colors added (or maybe all contracts) Example, and there should be fitting slot column added (high slot modules, mid slot modules, etc.) for better overview.

3. Courier contracts should be updated to new freighter max size, as of this moments maximum size for courier contract is 981,250 m3.

4. Filtering options for blueprints like number of runs (more/less then X), level of ME and TE.

5. Ability to add optional labels for contract and ability to filter them like "Fitted ship", "Mission Loot", "Ore bulk", etc..

6. At least estimated price at end of contract for region you are in or even better for any trade hub region you select (drop down menu where you can select form witch trade hub estimated price will be pulled). But as estimated is a bit broken sometimes having global estimated would maybe help? or maybe integrate evepraisal in contract menu? or use price between lowest sell order and highest buy odder?

7. Ability to export contract history to xml or similar.

8. Ability to set contract Availability to multiple characters / corporations / alliances.

I hope this helps.

Two things

First off remove the "pick which character" option when there are multiple other characters of the same name if the characters are Dust characters. They can't receive the contract so why is even and option? People get annoyed all the time contracting me things because there is someone named Convoy in dust so every time they have to select my name despite there being no other option to select.

For that matter if someone types in an "EXACT" name it shouldn't even bring this option up. for example if they type in a contract to "convoy" yes it should bring up a which character (provided there is another with the same name in EVE and not Dust}. However if someone types in "Convoy Prime" and it is an exact match this should not come up. Particularly if the contract assignment was done by clicking and dragging a character into the option.

Another thing which I may have simply not figured out how to do yet.
While in an alliance you can contract to anyone in the alliance for courier contracts. however if you are NOT in alliance and you want to make a courier contract you can only make the contract available to individual corps within an alliance and not the alliance as a whole. I'm not sure what the reasoning was behind this.

Instead of using the contract system for corperations prefited ships. They should use a diffrent system for mass fitting. Since its a popular thing most corps do.

It should be easier to peek inside contracts with multiple/variouse items.

Give the emitter of the courrier contract a memory of what was inside.

The content of the courrier must remain hidden in the eyes of the outside world for obvious reasons, but the sender should still be able to know what he sent at any time.

I haven't read most of the suggestions, and there's almost certainly overlap with my requests, but here's my wishlist.

"Multiple Items" isn't much help - show the description, if there is one, in the contract list, please.

The confirmation screen at the end of the contract process is redundant; I'd like an option to NOT show it. Pressing enter on that screen should dismiss it (i.e activate the "Close" button), since I can use Enter to advance through the contract process all the way through, until that screen, where I need to Shift-Tab first to get focus on the Close button.

The items you have pre-selected when making a contract should be shown at the top of the items list, so you can confirm, at a glance, what you are putting in the contract without having to scroll down.

I make *fitted* ships for my corp and I would like the Copy Contract function to recognize that. Right now it just grabs another hull (fitted or not, it doesn't care) and another pile of the same modules as were fitted to the original ship and....it's not helpful to me.

Creating multiple identical contracts at the same time would be BRILLIANT! If I fit twelve ships I'd like to be able to make ten identical contracts in one step. Bonus internet karma for you if you let me divide it up in any combination I want (12 contracts of one ship each, 6 contracts of two ships each etc.)

Here's an easy one: The only way to accept a contract is to double-click on it. There should also be an "Accept Contract" button at the bottom of the screen. Double-click should be a shortcut, but not the ONLY way (and right-click popup menus don't count either :) ). There's enough unused space at the bottom of the contracts screen to allow for the primary task you do on that page: accept contracts.

Please make drugs contractable.
Moving caps around if they have drugs in them is super awkward.

Please see the thread I set up a few days ago to discuss double wrapped courier contracts and the bugs and possible exploits that are being conducted in the current contract system to avoid cargo scanning, as well as loss mail values.

Do you know you can copy contracts from the contract history overview?

More than 1000 people ignored (when talking about contracts). I've recently started using them heavily (past few weeks) and I'm closing in, on 800 contract scammers.

Make the "Show Contracts" option available in the contract window itself. In order to see a contract history now, I have to open the character info window and click on the top left corner. This option should also be available in the contract window itself, along with the other options in when you click on the 3 lines in the bottom left corner.

That doesn't really work. When I try to copy a contract, the contract system tries to scrape every part of the contract from my item hangar, even though the items were fitted on ships or stored in cans. That makes it impractical to use, because you have to find and checkbox the desired items in the item list anyways.

My ridicule, heavy criticism and general pale outlook about your or CCP's ideas is nothing but an encouragement to prove me wrong. Give it a try.

Volume buy order on contracts for corps and alliances, able to be filled by many people.

Essentially like putting a buy order on the market but only available to corporation and alliance members.

For FW pilots, allow contracts to be assigned to your (or allied) militia. They're in game entities, roughly equivalent to alliances... would it be terribly difficult to add that option?

We Gallente have a saying: "CCP created the Gallente Militia to train the Fighters..."

Suggestion: When creating courier contracts, add a button labelled "current character location" to the page where you specify the destination

Keywords: contracts, ui, trade
Note: when habitually courier-contracting stuff bought elsewhere to your homebase, this would be _nice_
---

I am intra-regional / station trading on one of my characters. He sits in one station where he sells stuff. His buyorders are regional or x jumps out. When stuff accumulates, it is courier-contracted to the base.

EVERY SINGLE TIME I set up a courier contract, I have to start typing in the name of the destination station, the one I am in, again and again, and then use the autocomplete function (which is a big boon already, I acknowledge). A nice little button that simply puts current character location as destination would be nice. Probably even more so for people who do this less often, as they have to spend much more time on ascertaining they have picked the correct station out of the dozen in their system...

You hero. You freakin' hero.

Suggestion for CCP: Place this option in the right-click context menu when right-clicking contracts in the contracts window. As of right now this can only be accessed from a specific contract being open. I suspect a large number of players, like myself, didn't even realize this existed.

Dear CCP can you find a way to create a loan system that works, and cant be abused.
-It would need to do the following
-give collateral
-set interest rate
-set terms
-set the loan to a daily charge (if you play everyday), weekly charge, ect. so on and so forth
- and finally to make the person that has the loan to get ahead on the payments
and item loans would be like a expiring contract as soon as its up then the next time you dock up you are removed from said ship
