You misunderstand completely. I am protesting that the rules are NOT being applied. It's (an even more egregious, imo) violation of the TOS to make threats of real-life bodily harm and murder against another player, as it is to make racial slurs. Nevertheless, Sokhar gets a free pass and suffers no consequences for breaking the rules, yet E1 gets permabanned for breaking the rules.

If you ban one, you have to ban the other, or you're not accepting and applying the rules of the game. See the difference? I dont care that E1 got banned, I care that he did and the other guy (who imo committed the more severe "crime") did not.

I completely do not and did not expect CCP to operate in any other fashion

Also, you dont know any better than anyone else what the duration of the ban is.

Well this is not about the mechanics of hi-sec but about the new CODE war dec on high sec to force people to vote they way they want.

The only thing that I am complaining about is that they have posted the reason that they are doing it to get a guy away from CSM. Them blowing up freighters or the like don't concern me the least. Its the IRL blackmail attitude that annoys me.
Its not "Give us iskis or we will kill you." Its "Vote as we want you to IRL or we will harass you in game until you do as we say." You might claim that its not harassment but the fact remains that they are using the game to get their will through IRL. Thats the only thing that annoys me about this.

As for them or the goons killing miners and freighters?
That just increases my profits so I don't mind that the slightest.

Yes, Im saying that its obviously not the reason, its a topical thing to attach it to for more publicity and they would be doing it whether E1 existed or not. Im not commenting on whether you mind ships being blown up, Im commenting that you actually believe that this is somehow politically motivated and I disagree.
