Hi,

I'm sorry if this is the wrong forum to ask. I don't play EVE very much, let alone use the forum. My corporation has recently received a war-declaration. It's for a one-man corporation, so I'm not sure why, but it doesn't matter. I have an inactive control tower in high security space. No anchored structures except the tower itself. I'd rather not take it down as I remember you need some significant standings to set it up in high-sec.

So my question is, can these guys who declared war on me do anything against this control tower? Like I said, it's inactive and nothing else anchored, just a ghost tower hanging in space.

They've probably war dec'd you so that they can kill the tower.

Unless your extremely unlucky, and got picked randomly.

I've searched for moons suitable for towers and seen many inactive towers and all of them had no modules.

You'll have 24hrs before fighting starts, so unless you don't want that tower, I'd pull it down and then use it somewhere else.

Alright I see. The reason I'm in doubt, is that I used the tower a couple years ago for research etc., and then I basically slowly stopped playing. In the meantime, a corp declared war on me and it was obvious they wanted to take the PoS shield down and steal my research facilities. However they didn't do anything against the tower itself, so I'm curious if it has some sort of immunity.

They just popped the POS modules that can drop loot (hangar etc) and left the tower alone.
