Guristas 8/10 Drops (Penal Complex)

Just wondering if anyone has gotten any drops recently from the Guristas 8/10. I've done five of them this week and have got nothing but the effects.

Ded 8s are known for stingy drop rates, and you get streaks of no drops.

On 23 runs of this (as a signature, not as an escalation), I average a little over 200m per encounter including the box. FYI on average the ded 7 is nearly as valuable because of faction drops off the 2 commanders on the way (even though the c-type loot table itself is less valuable).

Got 2 DED modules last night. The dot however NEVER dropped anything for me ever.

Sad day. Seems rather off that I could have stayed in low sec and made more isk running 4/10s and 5/10s.

Yes, yes it does lol. When i live in Tribute, I used to spam forlorn and forsaken dens because even though their isk payouts were super crappy, if they did escalate they escalated to the Guristas 6/10 which could drop the pithum a type shield booster. This was before the introduction of the Deadspace invuls. I've gotten better results from 6/10s than I did from the 10/10 (The MAZE in that space).

The whole DED rating system is so outdated as to be useless.

The rating is for difficulty. loot is a market affect due to rarity and demand.

forsaken den. runs 57, escalations 2. ded 7
forlorn den. runs 57, escalations 1. ded 7

hidden den. runs 122. escalations. 2. ded 6
rally point. runs 313. escalations 3. ded 6

ded 6 - runs 12 : effects, 612, loot : 7530 : ave 686 / run including bounty
ded 10 - runs 6 : effects, 744, loot : 1662 : ave 421 / run including bounty

The ded 6 is basically painful to trigger an esc for, because the rate for the rally point is likely to be 1% and the rate for the hidden den is likely to be 2% but the hidden den is the worst paying encounter in nullsec ~6m ticks, and the expected game time between escalations is ~16 hrs. If you want it, far better off roaming and probing for it - you should be able to find it in less than 16 hours.

The ded 8 on the other hand, comes from hubs at 4%, hubs pay well, and don't take very long. its pretty easy to do "piths penal on demand", and I get paid 75m/hr gunprobing for it with a domi.
