Just curious but will there ever be any? I can't really think of any particular downsides.

Makes me wonder if there will ever be any T2 destroyers that are dedicated to combat like Assault frigates too.

I'm imagining those dual t1 logi frig teams from the new eden open turning into dual t2 logi frig teams.

This would be interesting. I don't see a T2 frigate logi overlapping with anything but it might be OP. If it had range it could make an interceptor unstoppable. (More so than they already are)

As much as I would love it I don't see T2 combat destroyers coming out soon... They have too many ships overlapping as it is.

Of course those are just some random thoughts I had... It could be all wrong and would need to be tested.

The proliferation of space clerics is already becoming too high. The last thing this game needs is more, easily accessible logi.

The Interdictors were just rebalanced with an improved combat role in mind. They can all be fit in an Assault Destroyer fashion.

T2 Frigate Logi would roughly cost the same as a T1 Cruiser Logi judging by current T2 Frigate Prices. More if you fit medium Deadspace Reps (assuming the T2 would follow the same pattern as current T2 and fit one size up RR size.)

And since it is a frigate it is faster and smaller signature radius, oh, and it has T2 resists and just better stats in general.

I would think that would overshadow the T1 Cruiser Logi role.

As a somewhat regular Logi Pilot, T2 Logi frigate would be something I know I would enjoy, but I agree that it may just have too much in common with the T1 Logi Cruisers, but at the same time you could even look to make sure they are more of a glass cannon. Enough of a Low EHP would make them easily alpha-able, which in turn in it's own way removes them from a number of roll possibilities.

They'd be great in low number fleets or bear fleets, but in larger PVP fleets where the incoming DPS can out pace the reps landing, I don't seem them staying on site for long.

Another option would be to add in some other buff they could pass along (say TC bonuses, or even Leadership bonuses, obviously NOT fitting a warfare link, but a role bonus that would be something of that nature, for an ON-Grid Logi Frigate).
