The CSM are essentially unpaid consultants. They consult on the ideas that CCP puts forward to them and then CCP takes those opinions into consideration. The CSM are also invited to give an opinion oon new ideas to develop the game further in balance and fair way (though CCP never listens) I understand their Role just fine. If i had the choice for the new CSM id take Proc and Corbexx. Proc has some good spunk to him and some drive and ambition and corbexx seems to talk to everyone all the time and would be good for gathering all the iinformation needed to do his job. between the two of them I think they might actually be able to push CCP to help us out

You hit the nail on the head right there. CCP never listens. Therefore it's an empty role generally speaking.

To be honest, in a way, I'm glad. There are so many awful ideas that people come up with.
