Greetings.

I've recently joined factional warfare and tried to set up colourtags and backgrounds in an attempt to avoid accidentally shooting friendlies or adding capsuleers with negative standings to my fleet. I need opinions from more experienced pilots on how to improve my current settings.

For reference, I fly in all secs and WH.

looks good. my setup is very similar to yours. I wish CCP would have good defaults since this shouldn't be the first thing you should do as new player.

how to fix eve: 1) remove ECM 2) rename dampeners to ECM 3) add new anti-drone ewar for caldari 4) give offgrid boosters ongrid combat value

I would pause and think about the word "friendlies" because the dudes from the allied miltia are purple and "friends" aswell but give em an opportunity and they will kill you... Just make sure you check em out and don't trust anyone..

EDIT: also before you shoot check militia tab on overview so you so not shoot your own militia accidentally

SECOND EDIT: I never fly on random fleets so i always assume that people in fleet are trust worthy till some point, if you fleet with randoms i recommend to set it lower priority.
