So what is the hole point of incursions in systems?
What is the point of it and why does it last for a hole week.
Its to long and extremely annoying.

What is the purpose of it?

Ask Sansha.

I'm pretty sure he'd say the whole point is galactic-domination.

The purpose is content. If it's annoying, go to another system.

They're high end PvE content, they're challenging, require teamwork, are downright nasty and clear when they're done. If you want them gone faster, organise a fleet, some of the sites are runnable in T1 ships with logistics.

If there's an incursion where you are and you want to mission, mine etc, change constellation for a week, it's not hard.

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

Disruptive changes to impact on play.

So basically, a PvE activity designed to disrupt your normal gameplay and create opporutinities for additional PvE, particularly based around cooperative play between different players.

Vanguard sites make about 9-10 million per pilot per site as far as I know; I don't know how long it takes to run one though I'd be surprised if it was more than 10 minutes, the LP is quite good too from what I understand.

Because if you kill them all, you get lots of money.

Ok great thank u all for the replies.

I did read up about it and it seems worth doing only if u are in a huge fleet. It says by killing the last boss it would drop some pretty nice blue prints and capital stuff and yes with isk and faction points.

So yes its worth it but not worth it to small corps/alliances.

Great to know for the future.

A lot of the fleets are public, they'll take anybody who meets their requirements, regardless of corporation.

Yup. It's easy to make 60M ISK/hr with a decent faction fitted T1 fleet (e.g.: Machariel/Nightmare with T2 guns and faction gyros/heat sinks). There are communities which arrange fleets around the clock, the two that spring to mind are The Ditanian Fleet for armour tank fleets, and Warp To Me Incursions. I think those are the channel names. You'll need to be able to fly a battleship with all resistances at 70% before fleet boosts, capable of dealing 900DPS (or fly a logistics ship with Logistics 5).

This is high-end PVE content, so you will be expected to have lots of skills trained to 5, mountains of ISK invested in your ship, and the willingness to let someone else tell you how to fly your ship :)

Uh, I don't think that's a T1 fleet Mara.
A T1 fleet would be Maels, Apocs & Megathrons. Which is entirely capable of doing an incursion site when T2 fitted incidentally.
Though Navy ships are a better option and not much more expensive if you are doing it on the cheap.

Since Incursions were added I've seen one ever and flew right on through it.

Based on my extensive experience I have concluded that Incursions are releated to the unchecked spread of the colour green.

That's not true. Vanguards are basically just like running level 4s. Just go solo them in your mission BS or a Drake and you will make like 100m per hour.
