If you elect me for CSM 9, I will change highsec for the better, No more unfair corporations deciding what goes and what doesn't.

I promise that neutral logi shall not go suspect in highsec during in-corp skirmishes.

Vote for me and you will see huge improvements in corp structure. No more will you be denied and attacked because of API information. Why should i hand over everything about me when i want to join a group of bro's to mine and do missions with? NO MORE I SAY! NO MORE! This is the future of highsec, this is the future of EVE. Vote for me and no more will you have to succumb to CEO/Recruiter demands, no more will you have to hand over your evemails, your killboard, nothing. I am Subject 4927, and i approve this message.

Subject 4927 might be better off with a statement along the lines of:

1) I have experience in … (play styles, activities, etc to give people an idea of which pain you share in common with them) … mining, mission-running, hauling, corporation management, POS management, dealing with roles and titles, station trading, etc.

2) I feel that … (relate to the audience in terms of which parts of the game you enjoy or dislike the most, which recent changes you appreciate, and which recent changes you disagree with)

The aim is to win friends, not to buy votes.

Take the time to read Mike Azariah's "So YOU want to be an Important Internet space politician" article (and its follow-up).

And Steve Ronuken needs to learn some diplomacy and tact. You can't beat the devs into submission, you have to win them over with your wit and charm.
