Thinking of purchasing new machine.

I need to know if anyone is having any overheating issues while running multiple eve clients on the new iMac's???

If so are you running software that monitors heat and allows you to adjust fans manually?

I currently have a mid 2010 iMac, and it was overheating running multiple eve clients, so I installed smc fan on it to cool it.

Anyone having heating issues with new iMac????

I've been able to run three clients on a new 27" iMac with no overheating. I have to ratchet the quality down a bit (I optimize for memory) but that's for other reasons.

Hmm ok, well apple must have made some major cooling improvements from mine then. Guess I could always get the extended warranty.
Thanks for the info!
