Did the Bellicose get a PG nerf?

I quite like the quirkyness of the Bellicose but a fit I used to fly near the end of last year no longer fits. It's 12% over on the PG and I have since finally trained AWU 5 so the difference is pretty big.

This is the fit (I have api linked KB losses to prove it fit)

[Bellicose, 2 LSE + 1 LASB]

Damage Control II
Ballistic Control System II
Nanofiber Internal Structure II
Nanofiber Internal Structure II

Experimental 10MN Microwarpdrive I
Large F-S9 Regolith Shield Induction
Large F-S9 Regolith Shield Induction
Large Ancillary Shield Booster, Navy Cap Booster 150
Warp Disruptor II

Rapid Light Missile Launcher II, Inferno Fury Light Missile
Rapid Light Missile Launcher II, Inferno Fury Light Missile
Rapid Light Missile Launcher II, Inferno Fury Light Missile
Rapid Light Missile Launcher II, Inferno Fury Light Missile

Medium Anti-EM Screen Reinforcer I
Medium Anti-EM Screen Reinforcer I
Medium Anti-Thermal Screen Reinforcer I

Warrior II x5
Warrior II x3

Has something changed in PG or module PG requirements since last year for this? I have searched the dev notes etc but can't find anything.

If anyone can link a patch note/dev blog I'd be grateful as I think my search-fu is weak today!

Cheers o7

Rubicon 1.0

PG requirements for fitting Rapid Light Missile Launchers have been increased.

hmm it says PG requirements increase but I can't find the original pg numbers. It must have been a bloody big increase in pg to put me 12%+ over in PG Cry

Anyone know what the original pg was off the top off your head?

Hmm 53 to 77 pg requirement.

That's what? a 45% increase in PG from original.

I never really saw the increase in pg in the original changes as much of an issue just that the firing speed/damage and reload were being mucked around with. But such a pg nerf makes the changes a definite nerf to the weapon system over all. Cry

Ah well. Guess I'll see what I can do with the 'new' stats. Ho hum.

Your fit looks odd anyway, double large extended and a shield booster, your booster is going to to be repping up a really low resistance shield buffer.

Perhaps replace one extender with an Invul field at least. If you then swapped your shield resistance rigs with shield extender rigs you could probably get back to something similar to what you have before. (Although I'm not saying whether that's a good or a bad thing :)

yeah most people look funny at it when they first see it. But it used to be pretty good at killing frig gangs. But I can work something similar with an invuln etc as you suggested. Not sure how well it will do with the new RLML but I'll give it a go and see Twisted

I know most people view target painters as 'haha' but they significantly contribute to applied damage. For example, if you shoot faction lights at a Rifter, 35m sig, it starts to reduce damage as it exceeds 298 m/s (AB) or 1785 m/s (MWD). One overheated TP (62.4% sig bloom) changes those numbers to 483 m/s and 2898 m/s.

Very true. One of the most used arguments against TP is that webs are better, which is also true in the range of 10-13km, but beyond that they are pretty useless to aid applied missile damage but a TP extends way beyond point range as it also assists any fleet mate in hitting the target as well.

Yeah I've has it go up against other cruisers and it fair pretty well as the light missile apply full damage v cruisers so non of it is wasted and the speed allows you to control the engagement so you can GTFO if need be.
