Grendel - Chemicals + Circuitry

mind.in.a.box - 8 Bits

I find that these two fit EVE's cyberpunk feel pretty well.

Cool one, and very catchy. Lol

They've got a really cool atmosphere going for them. I've heard similar, but they do this best (so far).

mind.in.a.box - Into the Night

Another very catchy, highly quotable tune of theirs.

Very different but very cool. Modern take on traditional Sami singing, apparently called "joiking" (someone correct me if they know better).

Eivør - Trøllabundin

She's got some mean pipes.

Grrr.

Oh, I think I bringed that one here. Very... unusual... technique. A bit scary too.

Time for a very different traditional song, from a very different land... my homeland.

Al tall ft. Maria del Mar Bonet - La ploma de perdiu (A partridge feather, traditional, recorded in 1982)

This is a small romance about three little girls who were embroidering with silk thread. The son of the King of France is taking a walk and asks them a thread of silk, and a dialogue ensues on the why he wants the thread:

Why he wants the silken thread?
He wants the silken thread to make a snare
Why he wants the snare?
He wants the snare to catch a partridge
Why he wants the partridge?
He wants the partridge to take a feather
Why he wants the feather?
He wants the feather to write a letter
Why he wants the letter?
He wants the letter to send it to his love
What he wants to do with his love?
He wants to hug his love.
