Now this is an interesting couple of songs...

The guess who - American Woman (1970)

The Stranglers - The European Female (1982)

From a Canadian band singing about an American woman, and a Britsh band singing about a European female... just never too clear wether she's human or feline.

That was a trademark from the 80s' The Stranglers, though. Just listen to their most iconic song...

The Stranglers - Golden brown (1981)

It kinda makes me think of Amarrian might. Lol

Doh, I am dumping memories... Just one last from The Stranglers...

The Stranglers - No more heroes (1977)

Cole Porter - Anything Goes

Fuckin awesome lyrics. Its a shame they dont make smart music anymore

Quote:
The world has gone mad today,
And good's bad today,
And black's white today,
And days night today,
And that gent today,
You gave a cent today,
Once had several châteaux.

Sadly still relevant even today.
