My problem with wardec mechanics at this point in time is someone making a war mutual, leaving corp, and then leaving the war mutual with one trashy alt as CEO of a one man corp, resulting in a permanent wardec you cannot drop.

Le sigh.

What do you usually do in EVE when you're not decced?

I mostly run L4 missions.
I mine in high sec if I want to build something
(minerals I mine myself are *better* than free, they are *my* minerals)
I enjoy flying ships that I have built myself.

Sometimes I mine in a corporate mining event to be sociable.

I invent my own T2 ammo, similarly with T2 mods.

Great! The only thing I'd say is very unpractical to do during a wardec is to mine.

But you can still do L4 missions even though you need to be careful. There was some advice from some highsec dude (I live in lowsec) earilier in the post. If you get together with a few corpmates, and help eachother out (especially with the scouting) it will be more fun and even easier.

You can also VERY easily haul things during a wardec (for your manufacturing activities), especially if you use a blockade runner.

You may stay docked if you prefer, but a little bit of research will allow you to go on with your activities under a wardec. Except probably mining, but maybe some savvy miner has some advice on that too.

Make space glamorous! Is EVE dying or not? Ask the EVE-O Death-o-meter!

Rogue CEOs and directors are really an important feature of EVE. Minimize any damage and find a new corp with people you can trust.

Sorry, I like being able to go afk for a few minutes to chat about politics with my wife or son.

I have to ramp up more situational awareness under wardec than I care to.

All of your advice boils down to "pay more attention to the game".

Since I have other claims on my attention, it is simpler to stay docked under war dec.

Recall that I still pay full fare subscription for my casual play style.

EDIT: actually, no point in trying to explain EVE gameplay to you, then.

Yes, you're correct, wardecs prevent you from going afk to chat while you're in space.
