EVE Startup problems

I'm having a problem with EVE getting past the splash screen and then failing. If I play around a bit I get a blue background and nothing else.

Wine: 1.3.32
Drivers: open source from git
OS: Arch i686

winetricks installed: corefonts, d3dx9_43, vcrun2003, vcrun2005, vcrun2008, vcrun2010

Can you confirm me what is the video card you have. I see open source from git drivers so I assume it's ATI/AMD Radeon, I'm right?

I also need the kernel version (uname -a)

Can you past the whole log please?

Yeah it's a ATI/AMD HD3650. The driver was set for 64bit and I changed the arch to i686 (not sure if this is a bad thing or not..)

I need the extensions part of the "glxinfo" output too.

As you have a 64bit system. you are sure that the drivers you have is compiled for 32BIT too? (I personally have to do that step manually on Gentoo Linux, else I am stuck with the 3 month old precompiled one.)

It's gxlinfo that came from mesa-demo's package in arch (it's how they package it - not with the mesa package)

It's why you need to manually compile it in 32Bit. The glxinfo from distribution package only came with the same BIT as the distribution. 64 bit arch, gentoo... come with 64bit glxinfo who test only 64 bit drivers.

Your drivers seam to be ok!

Do you have d3dx9_36.dll in your system32 folder?

This one may be still needed. I saw that you installed the 43 but on mine I needed to install 36.

I have the exact same problem with the proprietary drivers on Ubuntu.

Edit: OK well it appears my graphics card is slowly dying anyway. If there is a fix I won't be able to test it. Ugh
